Good for a quick cheap wine tasting

Good offering of wines. Great with a cheese board. Restaurant looked goo, but we did not eat there. You might have to sit at one of the long tables outside

Arrived at the estate but did not feel welcomed and it seemed if you did not reserve a table for lunch you could not be accommodated.

The restaurant at Grand Provence is absolutely exquisite! The staff is very professional and make sure that your visit is something to remember. The ambiance is also very nice. I visited again for a wine tour and the wine also is not a disappointment. Worth a visit when in the Franschoek area.

A lovely setting where we enjoyed a wine tasting session followed by a meal outside in the courtyard . There is also a small gallery of local painting to browse. The meal paired the courses with the wine which made a great afternoon.

Nice way to end a group tour. A wonderful selection of two white wines (Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc) and two red wines (Cabernet Sauvignon and Grand Provence Red) to taste in a great garden setting. Enjoyable interaction with a knowledgeable and friendly wine master.

Beautiful statues and other cultural pieces spread out in the estate. Wine tasting is the worst experience ever ! Poor service and awful wines served but pretentious and unskilled / unqualifed waiters.

This was our final stop of the day on our wine tour and what a way to end it! So so pretty with beautiful established gardens and interesting sculptures scattered around the gardens! The wine tasting room was modern and inviting. A very busy time of the day as it's the last stop for many do be prepared to wait... More

As a published food and travel writer it's always a pleasure when a review is easy to write about. This was the case for Grand Provence Estate. If you ever dreamed of staying on a wine estate this is as close as you can get. Fortunately, we had the owners cottage all to ourselves The accommodations are excellent and the... More

Stunning estate with garden of sculptures, great scenery and several tasting options. Also had some of the desserts which were absolutely decadent as well as the wine tasting. the best estate that we did a tasting at in Franschoek.

The wine tasting at Grande Provence is sublime. You have the option of sitting either in the lovely and lush garden or in the cool tasting room. The Pinot noir is a must! The art gallery is also a treat boasting excellent contemporary SA art!
