We had a really good time. I must however say that if you are going to include a lunch stop, you cannot experience more than 3 wine farms effectively. You can also only taste so many wines....Due to the close proximity of the Franschhoek wine farms on either the red or blue route, it is almost easier just to do... More

This is a must when in the Winelands. Nicely done, you get an hour at each vineyard, so have time for tastings with food if you need it. We soon realised you don't have to get back on the same bus so can stay longer if eating. We booked both lunches from UK. Picnic lunch was fantastic. Low lying vineyards... More

this is a great way to visit several vineyards without having to drive, so you can taste a few more wines. There are only two stops on the tram and the rest is on a bus, but it really doesn't matter. It's good fun, well organised and reasonably priced.

A bit disappointing, and I'm not talking about the tram service, that was great. It's the wine farms on the route - not the best that Franschoek can offer, however I see they have added a few new names since our trip So try it, it is fun non the less

Great way to travel from wine farm to wine farm. We took the blue line and many of the tasting fees were included in the price.

Certainly a great day out visiting the vineyards We took the Blue Route with stops for tasting at La Couronne, Holden Manz, La Bri, Rickety Bridge, and Grande Provence. We had lunch at Holden Manz which we enjoyed, though many of the vineyards look good stops for lunch as well, but we could only manage one lunch! The deal is... More

Thinking about wine tasting all day and then remembering to drive on the other side of the road made us big fans of using the charming and easy wine tram--took us to 5 wineries( could have done more but ran out of time. Perfect way to let others do the driving and focus on the fun of just enjoying the... More

The wine tram is definitely the best way to visit the vineyards, it is not just a way to get around you meet some lovely people on board ,everyone gets more chatty the more they drink. I would recommend visiting Eikehof, the staff and wine were great. We had lunch at Leopards Leap, beautiful building, but lunch (canteen style) only... More
