Love this museum so much but wish they would allow people to get into one or two of the cars for pics or just make the tour a little bit more exciting

I was invited by Cape Talk to celebrate Father's Day with my young son at this wonderful venue. I am still not sure why I have never been here before as it is an all inspiring adventure through the different vintages of cars, from the first to the current. The car collection which spans well over 300 are all in... More

The motor museum in Franshhoek is the best I have seen in terms of "automobile evolution". Franshoehhk is in the outskirt of Western Cape en-route Stellenbosch. The evolution of car technology from the early days is just breath taking.

I have no words to describe our experience... It was simply fantastic! The examples are properly restored and kept in good condition. The layout is thought-through. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. The pricey entrance fee is definitely worth it! If you are a motor enthusiast, make sure you set aside sufficient time to enjoy every little detail.

Beautifully restored and displayed examples of different eras, from the very old to the new and very fast. Really enjoyed it!

There are some amazing cars to see here. The museum is slightly expensive to get in, at R60, especially if you're not a car fanatic, but they lay out and the collection are pretty amazing.

One of the best motor museums I have been to. The cars are nicely laid out meaning they haven't tried to cram to much in. Very beautiful views around the museum and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Very enjoyable visit.

A fantastic few hours tasting local winter wines and a visit to the classic motor museum. Great trip.

I had planned this as a must see in our recent trip to Cape Town. Certainly not disappointed, the exotica were beautiful displayed, including a static display of John Love's silver wear, helmet and a steering wheel off a crashed F1. I was told by one of the officials that there are another 200 odd vehicles stored not too far... More
