Someone has spent a lot of time (and money) assembling a fine collection of motor cars from the earliest to the present day. The museum is definitiely woth a visit.

Just superb to spend an hour or so here and very good value. Friends who went the year before said the exhibition had changed significantly so a revisit can be worthwhile. Stunning setting and superbly layed out in the 4 big barns. Pristinely clean with aircon. Wonderful exhibits from across the whole history of the motor car.

Hubby is a car buff, me not so much. But it's in a beautiful setting, and beautifully laid out. The collection is a bit scattered there's some cars in there that make you wonder why? but hey, it was someone's private collection. There's also antique bicycles and general memorabilia. Overall really enjoyed our time there.

The cars on display were amazing, and so many of the exhibits were worth seeing. It was fascinating to see some cars that we had only seen in films before!

Interesting exhibition of rare cars, especially Ferrari's. You can take as many photographs as you wish, but no touching. We received a discounted entrance for both being UK Porsche club members.

I cannot say I have much interest in cars, however my husband wanted to have a look at the museum. It is in 4 big buildings and I have to say I was amased over the variety and amount of cars not to say the year span from early 1900 up to day with a lot of racing com sports... More

Highly recommended, especially car fans. It is rare that one can see up close authentic cars of history (they are not fakes!). You can actually feel as if you're back in time of those car's era. Extremely well kept attraction with gigantic soothing gardens. Visit here if you would like a nice quiet stroll in a peaceful paradise.

We noticed the sign for the Motor Museum on our way into Franschhoek. My husband wanted to visit straight away but I persuaded him to wait until the morning. We spoke to the owner of the guest house regarding the Museum who told us that it was '4 sheds with cars'! What an under-sell! They are 4 purpose built, air... More
