On a recent trip to Namibia this was our stop over. It remains our choice of stay because of the magnificent falls. At night, though, the pathway is only lit from 8pm although the sun sets at 6pm already. But we still felt it worthwhile to visit the falls at night. The campsite is a bit tired and needs a... More

We went there a week ago. It's amazingly clean. A must see for everyone going in that direction. The food at the Restaurant there, was absolutely fantastic. All staff, including the waiters were totally attentive and friendly. Can't wait for our next visit. :-)

We arrived at the park for a two night stay, had a freindly welcome both at the gate and on our arrival at the reception. Camp site clean and set amoungest the trees within good walking distance of the resturant and spectacular falls. Abultions clean but getting on, and therefore are a little tired possibly need to be rejuvenated. Monkeys... More

The Augrabies National Park and the Falls is so beautiful! the sunset and sunrise is breathtaking. The rock formation is so unique around the Falls and interesting Moon Rock with great view of the Park. The is interesting fauna and flora which is well marked. I stayed at the camp site for 4 days and the monkeys are troublesome! the... More

Very beautiful, clean and safe. I did not stay over, however, everything looked well kept and maintained. The restaurant staff was very friendly. Will definitely go back for a day or two and stay in one of the challets. Perfect place to recharge your batteries!

The boardwalks and viewing decks are well placed and make access safe and easy to both the falls and the gorge. There is a small wildlife reserve. Hiking and mountain bike tracks have increased the appeal of the reserve.

Augrabies is a place I have visited with friends and family many times. It is an awesome spot and not just for the waterfall. The fall is great but the canyon a short drive into the park, at viewpoint Ararat is even better. Here at sunset you can see black eagle flying below you as they look for food while... More

Because of the low level in the river the falls were unimpressive. You need to go when the river is in flood. Nevertheless the viewpoints provide remarkable scenery. Convenient roads and clean toilets. Game viewing is a plus although apart from some giraffe and baboons we saw nothing else.

We called by during our 3 month driving tour of South Africa in January this year. Probably not the best time as it was all very dry and the waterfalls were just a trickle. My beef though is with the management here who need to work on their customer-facing skills, in my opinion. Due to a misunderstanding (i.e. not being... More
