Really a lovely area with more secluded beaches compared to J-Bay beaches. However, the bridge has frequently been flooded preventing cars from crossing. There is an alternative route. For incredible accommodation see Surf Lodge South Africa (SA). A beautiful house with spectacular views. Be sure to visit Tapas Beach Restaurant for delicious seafood and De Viswijf for brilliant food, especially... More

Unfortunately the day of my visit was littered with plastic bags, polystyrene take-away containers and anything that can float along the water's edge. What sacrilege... what an absolute disappointment for such a true piece of nature in such a beautiful town - needless to say we were immediately looking for the public amenities manager to lodge our disgust. Maybe if... More

the sun can be hot and you’ll definitely need a strong sunscreen and a hat unless you take some shade with you. You’ll find great views and tranquil waters here without many visitors. On the endless sandy beach you can collect shells and curious shaped stones and from time to time a couple of jellyfish washes out. I have been... More

Paradise beach is a wonderful, peaceful and tranquil place to spend a few hours. It can be windy at times so sunbathing when we went was somewhat cool. The nice thing about this beach is the fact that you can walk for miles and enjoy the beauty of the area.

As we were staying close by at the Surf Lodge SA this was a stones throw from our room. Beautiful private, safe and very long beach.

Beautiful in every condition, raining, windy, with or without sun this beach is absolutely magnificent. Unpoiled, few people around, great walks and many shells.

A wonderful place for a walk along the beach. Park at large car park near restaurant called Walskipper, also worth a visit, and then head to the beach.
