This private malaria free reserve close to the Addo Elephant National Park is probably the most densely stocked reserve in Africa, and with over 40 mammal species and approximately 2000 animals, can offer consistently good game viewing throughout the year. « less

I was sceptical of "the experience" and was pleasantly surprised. The whole thing is well organised and once you get away from the 'holiday camp' reception area it is delightful. The area is quite small but our guide, Scott made sure we did not feel part of convoy. He was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed what he was doing -... More

We enjoyed seeing many animals in a short time although only one rhino, but it was disappointing to see that with a business attracting so many guest on one go every day they do not seem to have time to clean... We stayed in Springbok Lodge Everything was wonderful, from the accommodation to the staff and the animals. Our guide George was wonderfully knowledgable too! Can't wait to make a return visit. They even coped beautifully with my our Vegan diets. Thank you Jenny. More

If ever you want a experience that you will never forget, Scotia is one that will stay with you. Our enconter with Lions at Scotia was remarkable, the safari was awesome, the guides was fab and fuuny, the food at the outside BBQ was tremendous, a 350kg lion at night in a spotlight at 15 feet is an experience that... Carl was a perfect guide. His knowledge was impressive and he found ways to break away from the pack of other groups. Made the whole experience ideal. More

This was the big safari that we had always wanted to do and we were not disappointed. The whole set up is quite commercial with 7 or 8 land rovers all departing at the same time to enter the park, but once inside they go off in different directions. You get a feeling that the guides know exactly where all... More
