This was a cute cruise for children ten and under. Our kids are ages 8 and 3 and they had a great time. The cruise is about an hour long. During the voyage, actors dressed as pirates put on an interactive show. Kids get to spray water canons at the enemy, help read a map to find treasure and listen... More

Though the trip around the Bay is short, only an hour or so, it is packed with fun. The hands are all dressed in pirate garb and speak with pirate accents and language. The teach you some of the terms, and put on a great show as you sail the calm waters. The highlight for my four-year-old nephew was when... More

Tried Dark Star for the first time this year. Great fun for the kids; the crew was extremely entertaining and I would recommend to any family with children.

We were looking for something different for the kids to do this year and found a flyer for Dark Star Pirate Cruises. It looked like fun for the kids but my adult nephews enjoyed it too. The actors really made the difference for the kids--they have been repeating Ahoy, Aye and of course, Aaarrrgghh, since the cruise! They loved the... More

We have little children and have done other Pirate Cruises in the past. We figured, while we were in Wildwood, why not try the Dark Star Pirate Cruises. It started very lively and fun for both children and adults. That was until the Captain came out and joined the other 2 pirates. The first 2 pirates delivered clean, wholesome fun.... More

Very fun and exciting for children. What kids don't like pirate sword fights, treasure hunting, water cannon fights and finding treasure?

This 1 hour cruise was well worth the 25 bucks each that we paid. The characters on the boat were actually very convincing actors. What stood out to me mostly was their genuine love for kids. Aside from the mutiny driven sword fight, the shoot-out we had with another pirate vessel proved to be engaging for everyone on the ship.... More

Very interactive, they get the kids and the adults involved. Wet Dog Molloy was awesome with the kids. My family went to a 630 pm cruise and the weather was perfect. Kids had a great time shooting the cannons! Would highly recommend this cruise.

This was my family's 2nd time and it was even more entertaining than last year. The kids were constantly laughing as well as the adults. The actors get the adults in on the fun most of us loved it. Each year they seem to find the one adult who is not really into it and turn them around. Excellent family... More

Fun for the younger kids, but keeps it interesting and fun for adults too. We tried to go 6/20, and an engine was down, came back later (called prior) they said it was working, but when we got there (10 minutes later),it still wasn't working. We did waste a lot of time there that day, but the staff was helpful... More
