Actually I took my son July of 2012 and we had a ball. I would recommend this for people that have young ones and people that are young at heart. It was sooooooooooooo much fun!!

My family and I went on the pirate voyage after buying a deal through either groupon or living social. We all had such a fun time! The kids sit in the front of the ship while the parents are more towards the back (the ship is nicely secured so safety of them falling overboard really isn't much of an issue).... More

Our group (four adults plus four kids ages 4 through 8 - probably the maximum age I'd recommend for kids) had a great time. The pirates really throw themselves into their act wholeheartedly, and they make sure to include every kid and even the adults in the interactive fun. The joking banter and action are non-stop. We had tried to... More

Not too much I can add that hasn't been said. The crew did a terrific job keeping the kids entertained all throughout the cruise. There's even oppotunities for the parents to get involved so if you want to embarrass/impress your kids you have your chances. The water cannon fight toward the end was an absolute blast for the kids. My... More

My 6 year old son loved this and so did I! Stories, treasure, high seas battle (he got to shoot a cannon looking water gun at an "attacking" boat) & limbo. Cute & very fun! We also had a 12 year old with us who was not as impressed.

We enjoyed the cruise.. I had 3 kids ages 5,,7,, 11. They were very interactive..did face painting before the cruise. I suggest this for younger kids.. Bloody Mary was great!

We bought this as a living social deal. Tips first: Bring your kids a change of clothes in case they get wet. Get there early to find parking on the street. Get there early to get the kids faces painted and get yourself situated. Bring cash to tip the pirates. Our children really enjoyed this little trip around the bay... More

Fun time for children of all ages. The most fun is when you get to soak the bad guy. Tattoo and eye patch was great

My kids loved it! Although it was super hot & the poor "pirates" looked overheated, they did a great job keeping everyone entertained & even cool, with the water "battle".
