We took the ferry from the central Weehawken terminal to midtown and returned to the Lincoln Harbor dock. $18 round trip / $16.50 for seniors. Easy to get to the city (NY) or Hoboken. It costs $9.25 so it is more expensive than the 158 bus at ($3.25), however, its worth doing for the views.

Was working in Weehawken and had to go to the city for an appointment. Was going to drive since I was so close to the Lincoln Tunnel until I was told about the ferry. 6 minutes to Manhattan with a 15 minute walk into Times Square. Get the app for your phone and buy tickets that way. Show the ticket... More

There is no more sensible way to cross the Hudson any time of day. Free connecting buses all over Manhattan with cheap convenient parking. Who in their right mind would visit The City during heavy traffic times, which means other than 3-5 A.M.?

Went to NYC to visit 911 Memorial. We live in monmouth county and found this was the most pleasant way to arrive in NYC. Have had a life time of experience of making the drive-taking the train and or Path. Its like getting the bonus of all the extra sites to be seen. The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Jersery City-Liberty Park-the Bridges...
