Easy way to get to the theater or other events. The shuttle buses run late, the parking is easy and cheap, the terminals are clean with spotless restrooms. This outfit knows how to do mass transit.. Avoid the hassles and tolls of the tunnel or the bridge, parking costs, city congestion, and enjoy a scenic ride. One suggestion-download the app... More

We had just one quick day in the city before our NCL cruise and used the Ferry to get back and forth to our hotel in Weehawken. To our pleasant surprise they also offered FREE bus service with the ferry transfer. We only need to get to the 911 memorial and we didn't need to get a taxi from Pier... More

The PATH trains between Manhattan's Financial Center and Paulus Hook in Jersey City are closed all weekends in 2014, but have no fear....the NY Waterway Ferry takes you across the river in 5 min's for the price of a subway ticket ($2.50). And what a ride it is! You see the World Trade Center, the Verrazano Bridge, the Statue of... More

It's a 7-minute escape from the everyday. I recently moved to West New York and am in love with this serviceable, convenient and entertaining way to get to midtown Manhattan. The fleet of buses parked at the terminal take ferry passengers--well, any place I would want to go, at no extra charge. They cruise around the city picking up commuters.... More

The NY Waterway Ferry is our chosen method of going into the City if it is just two people traveling. It is fairly reasonable and definitely quick, not to mention the bonus that comes with the ride: an amazing view of the NY skyline! With plenty of parking, within ten to fifteen minutes you are wisked into Manhattan where the... More

Our family of six traveled by ferry & bus between NJ and NYC. We found that although pricing is listed it is subject to the interpretation and discretion of each employee. Be careful with what you are purchasing and that you investigate all travel options & prices before committing.

Ferry ride is nice and short and brings you right into mid town Manhattan, Then you go outside and NYW has several buses to take you to most of Manhattan for free, One huge problem with the buses though is that there are NO marked Bus Pickup locations, you have to guess where the bus will pick you up. We... More

Ferry is nothing fancy, but it is so fast it is almost not enough time to enjoy all the scenery on both sides of the river.

Some of the best views of Manhattan can be observed from the ferry boat itself or from the ferry terminal in Weehawken. The ride can be a bit rocky in foul weather or when the ferry cuts across the wake of a much larger vessel, but the trip is not long enough to develop sea-sickness. For an eight minute ride... More

The Ferry comes on time and isn't very crowded. You feel like your destination is a bit of a treat. I was there in thi hotel several times and in the summer you get a lovely breeze.
