$9.25 each way. Luckily kids 12 and younger were free for the summer! The shuttles in Manhattan, were convenient, but we were never able to get a return shuttle, and ended up walking many many blocks back to the ferry at night.

Quick and frequent rides back forth from NJ and NY and free bus rides on the NY side to take you all over the city.

I took the ferry with a friend on our first trip to Times Square and it was an extremely nice experience. It was very easy to navigate with the tickets and where to brings you. It was clean and a quick but nice ride. Inexpensive and nice experience to add to our NYC trip

Loved our trip to the city. To avoid the traffic we decided to visit the NYC by waterway. Great experience would recommend it and definitely a better alternative then paying tolls and parking in the city. Only negative remark would be that when you are returning late then you would need to get to 12th Ave and 38 street. Its... More

On time, comfortable, minimal expense. The terminal to come back from Manhattan to NJ is very nice. It's loaded with security and has televisions, newsstands with goodies, and is inside, heated and cooled.

The NY Waterway Ferry was easy to utilize, quite convenient and just a lot of fun. The interior was very clean and comfortable, and in the summer weather standing on the bridge outside was a perfect spot for photos or to enjoy the wind & weather.

Stayed at the Sheraton in Weehawken, NJ steps from the ferry dock. It's a short trip to NYC, keep your ticket and you can take one of their buses to various locations in NYC. Can also catch the bus back to the ferry docks. We walked from Manhattan to the ferry which was beautiful. The start of the High line... More

The schedule is very accurate and you can count on the ferry being on time. It was very convenient. The buses that take you from the ferry to midtown were not exactly clean, but it is public transportation so you have to take what you get.

We live about twenty minutes from the city and we usually take the ferry into the city. If you're from Jersey it's a nice drive into Weehawken and the facility has some little places to eat and places to sit while you wait. The ferries run in 20 minute intervals until I believe around 1:00 in the morning (at least... More

Be aware of the boat you board - if you get on one of the boats that has a full canopy, you will have much difficulty seeing the fireworks. One of the boats is the “Empire State” (not sure if it’s still in service). Compounding the situation is all the people on the boat will be crowding into every available... More
