it was a long hard walk and if its hot and you have kids its very hard hike for them.alot of the animals were not even active when we went they just lay there. eating at the snack booth is bombarded with bees. the buildings with displays are great and the entrance way is amazing with all the taxidermy of... We were in a group of 4 adults and 3 kids 1.5, 2 and 4.5. The grounds are horrible and animals in very small cages. The pathways are awful to walk. The animals all looked well-fed due to snacks from visitors but otherwise their hair and cages didn't looked they were touched. The people who worked there had no interest... More

First, let me say the highlight was the restaurant on entry before you buy your ticket is a great pizza parlor that is also a business besides the zoo eatery. The animals are plentiful for a small zoo with a good number of babies in spring, and a good variety of different animals. It has a nice small park-like stroll... More

Space Farms and what they are trying to do for animals that cannot be released back into the wild (so they say) or have no where else to go is nice but the space provided to the animals was so sad. Two lions stuffed in a tiny concrete great. A large bear in the same predicament. A bit overpriced but... More

This is a great family destination. It's like a zoo, but not in a traditional way, so not exactly a zoo and not exactly a farm, more of a nice blend of the two. They have live close up demonstrations with all kinds of animals many of them being babies as well as sneaks. (I don't like snakes) They also... More

I've been to a good number of zoos throughout the country and this zoo is really different from all the rest. It's not crowded and although it may have less variety of animals, it is really great. I've visited two times so far with my son and we had the zoo to ourselves each time. The animals appear to be... More

We went and didn't know what to expect. What is better than a day with the animals? It's a mom and pop zoo but so much to see including lions, tigers, bears, buffalo, lemurs, monkeys and more!! A large vast park like area with cages of animals. And some you can feed like goats. I didn't notice poor conditions for... More
