This is a great family destination. It's like a zoo, but not in a traditional way, so not exactly a zoo and not exactly a farm, more of a nice blend of the two. They have live close up demonstrations with all kinds of animals many of them being babies as well as sneaks. (I don't like snakes) They also... More

I've been to a good number of zoos throughout the country and this zoo is really different from all the rest. It's not crowded and although it may have less variety of animals, it is really great. I've visited two times so far with my son and we had the zoo to ourselves each time. The animals appear to be... More

We went and didn't know what to expect. What is better than a day with the animals? It's a mom and pop zoo but so much to see including lions, tigers, bears, buffalo, lemurs, monkeys and more!! A large vast park like area with cages of animals. And some you can feed like goats. I didn't notice poor conditions for... More

I am disgusted in the terrible conditions they keep their animals in. No water sources for most animals, animals with horrible skin conditions and extremely tiny cages with no toys trees or shade or room for any of the animals to roam around in they are confined to an area no larger than the animal itself:example:they have a 16 ft... We took our daughter and five friends to Space Farms to celebrate her birthday. The grounds and habitats were well maintained. The kids enjoyed feeding corn to the deer and sheep and goats. They threw animal crackers to the bears and raccoons. All the animals were pretty active except the lion (which seems to be typical at all the zoos... More

I have been taking my kids to this great local zoo since 1992. Now that my kids are older, I'm sure one day I will be taking my grandchildren as well. We love to buy the animal treats that they sell in their store and feed the animals as we journey through the zoo. I would recommend this zoo to... More

You need good shoes because it is a lot of walking. Pick a nice day because there is not a lot of shade.

This is quite a place. Just when you think you have seen it all, around the corner is a whole other collection that is unbelievable! Nothing fancy but a tribute to one family's lifetime of collecting.

Twenty years ago, I visited Space Farms for the first time on an elementary school field trip. I was so excited to go back this past summer. Soon after arriving, I began to wish we hadn't wasted the time or the money. We forgot to pack our stroller, so we had to rent one; $5.00 for a rickety old rusted... More
