Beautiful, clean beach, white sand, with a boardwalk and benches on which to sit. It was not crowded when I was there, and parking was was not a problem. Cost of one day beach tag was $10 per person, which I thought was a little high. Beach attendant arrives early, around 8 a.m. but leaves for the day around 4... More

Peaceful. Historic. Calming. Charming. Relaxing. What a beautiful place to spend time anytime of the year.

Nice boardwalk. No tacky stands or cheap food stands. Beach was nearly empty late in afternoon on a beautiful August day. Place was clean. Relatively easy to find free parking not too far from beach. I would go back

My wife and I received a last-minute invite to go to the beach and it was a great decision to go. The beach was clean and well kept. Lifeguards alerted swimmers of riptides and flagged the safer areas to swim. It wasn’t noisy or jammed with people running around or playing loud music; I was able to sit, relax and... More

Not sure if it worth $10 pp and how can you call it quiet? May be on Monday? The beach in Spring Lake is not bad, but not much different from other beaches in the area. The price keeps people away, but it's still crowded. Remember, that people from the city can get there by a train. The food is... More

Extremely clean. Easy to park. Not crowded at all. Ban on coolers strictly enforced - well worth the $10 per person cost.

I always have enjoyed Spring Lake beaches. Growing up we had a house in Spring Lake and spent a lot of time in the area. I like that the beaches are kept clean by not allowing people to eat or bring large coolers on the beach. However last week I notices quite a few people eating plenty of food on... More

I have taken every opportunity when I am doing business or visiting in the area to stop off at this beach for a quiet moment particularly in the winter. Many folks run or jog on the boardwalk. It has been replaced since Hurricane Sandy. It is a nice spot off season to eat lunch between appointments. The beach is always... More

We just spent a nice afternoon at the beach in Spring Lake, NJ. I do not know why people say you cannot bring water- if you have it in your bag ( not in a cooler) you seem to be able to bring water. Water was not too rough on the day we were there- and we stayed until the... More

Way too many rules. No food on the beach. No coolers on the beach. No WATER on the beach. The beach staff was rude.
