I have been to quite a few beaches all over the world and never have I experienced this. First, I will start by saying I was already annoyed that they have the nerve to charge $10 per person. I am all about free beaches. But I get that they need to pay summer police/beach patrol and I assumed that money... More

I took my daughter to this beach a few weeks ago on a weekend. I had no issues with finding parking spots but I did arrive early at 10am. The price for a daily beach pass this season is $10 per person. Coolers are not permitted and you will be asked to keep it on the boardwalk which can be... More

Start your day with some fresh and clean air from the ocean. It's wonderful to see how many people taking care of themselves and do some aerobic activity on the beach. The new boardwalk after "Sandy" storm is very nice.

The beach was nice, BUT.... This town is NOT what I was looking for while on a weekend at the beach. You can't bring food or coolers on the beach, there are no bars in town, none of the restaurants serve alcohol. All of the shops on Third Ave are boutiques and way out of our price range. Holy cow,... More

The beach is clean and not too many people go so you don't have to worry about fighting for a spot to set up your chairs! Its great for day trips. They do have a pavilion with a snack bar for lunch, however as of August 2013, it is undergoing (non-Sandy related) renovations. I suspect it will be ready to... More

I just witnessed a beach police tell a family with a baby to remove their cooler which contained breast milk. Seriously! Does spring lake have any idea how long it takes to pump enough milk for a newborn. The family got up and left because the mom didn't want to put her little cooler on the boardwalk. She was afraid... It really gets on my last nerve to pay $10.00 a person to sit on a beach in spring lake. We normally visit Belmar but parking was a little lighter in spring lake. In addition to the $10.00, I had to remove my bag with water bottles and ice in it. I no longer can have ice water but rather... More

Washington Avenue Beach? Never heard of it. It should be Spring Lake Beach as you can access Ocean Avenue from most of the east-bound lanes in the shore town. Direct access to the beach can be from many points along Ocean Avenue. Parking on the residential streets is free so you won't sweat the $10 beach badge fee too much.... More

Beautiful, clean, wide beach. It is $10 per person for a daily pass to get on the beach. Passes can be bought at the north end. Coolers can be left on the boardwalk. If you need facilities, the south end pavilion has bathrooms, a small gift shop and snack bar with reasonable prices. There is a covered deck above the... More

He was at the South End Pavillion on July 15 at 11:30 am.....I have seen this bug fat whale on TV but he was even more grotesque in person. He eats doughnuts, not plankton and was last seen in Trenton with his mouth wide open.
