Count Basie is a great local theater in Red Bank that offers top notch entertainment. All the seats in the house are good. If they have a show you like, this is a great place to see them. Red Bank is a wonderful friendly town with lots of restaurants for you to eat either before or after the show. Parking... More

I've seen various shows at this theatre over the years, most recently I saw the Tedeschi Trucks Band and I was frankly blown away. The seating is a little tight but my seats for this show were dead center, 18 rows back from the stage. Perfect line of sight, perfect audio location. All in all a fantastic experience.

Took my Mom to see holiday do op show and it was wonderful. Everyone in the theater was friendly and helpful. The sound and lighting was nice and the house band was just great. It was obvious a lot of time and effort went into planning the show with all the wonderful acts. My Mom enjoyed herself as did so... More

Red bank is a nice Jersey town. It's great to see a show at the Count Basie Theatre, and there are wonderful restaurants nearby.

The Count Basie Theatre is a wonderful venue - a beautiful old theatre that's been lovingly restored to it's full glory. It's a relatively small, intimate space, so there are really no bad seats. The acoustics are very good, so the bands need not be ear-splitting to be enjoyable - there are no obvious echos or anything like that. They... More

This is a great venue to see lots of famous entertainers. Have been here for many shows and have never been disappointed. I recommend always getting orchestra seats. Even though the theater is small, orchestra seats provide for a real up front and close experience. The sound system is great and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance for... More

I live really close to the Count Basie, so it is great to see a show/concert here. Dinner out first and then a show. I saw Spamalot and it was HILARIOUS! Very well done. Definitely recommend, but not upstairs, if you can avoid it!

Get tickets in the orchestra section.. close. The sound quality is lacking with back seats. They are working to rejuvenate this venue and it seems all is working well, but the acoustics are not there in the back. You will have a wonderful time and sound quality if you sit in the front orchestra. Don't miss going there while in... More

I grew up going to the old Carlton Theater. The Count Basic is an awesome venue. I've never been disappointed at ANY of the shows I've been to.

Not a big theatre, but just big enough for a local show. Saw the Moody Blues and Southside Johnny on New Years. Both put on a good show. Its an older place so seats are a bit tight. Most views are good from any seat...no real obstuctions Cash bar available.
