This venue was recently refurbished and it shows. Everything about the theatre is comfortable and inviting right down to the reasonably priced bar. I've seen many shows and everytime the acoustics were superior. Every musical act I've seen play seem genuinely happy to be playing in the theatre named after the great Count Basie.

We were in Red Bank for a Mini-Vacation and were fortunate to have caught a concert by Boney Jones at the Theater. We had great seats in the balcony and the sound system was perfect (not overbearing ) as we have experienced in similar theaters. The ushers were kind enough to point out better seats after the concert started as... More

Was lucky enough to see Graham Nash in concert. Venue holds about 1500 people. Every seat is a good one. Very enjoyable.

Went to see old Gordon Lightfoot here and enjoyed the facility. Seats were very comfortable and the acoustics fine. Need more places like this. Only issue was the lack of adequate parking.

It was my first time and it was amazing!!! Yes, the theater is old fashioned but that's what made it even better. The staff was friendly. I will definatelly see more shows in the future

This is an old time theater like they used to make em! We went in January for a Mumenschanz show. The place was packed and, because of the age of the theater, the seats are a little tight but beautiful theater. They have a balcony with a bar/snack area in the upstairs and downstairs. There are also TV's that have... More

It was a great performance with wonderful dancing and singing. The children in the audience were spell bound! The theatre has recently been renovated and the seats were very comfortable and the century old theater is beautiful now.

We have been to the Count Basie on numerous occasions to see plays, concerts and shows. It is truly a wonderful theatre in a town with great restaurants. Will keep returning.

I love Count Basie Theater! I have been going here since I was a child. They provide a wide range of shows for everybody as well as programs for children. The acoustics are great and the decor is just like it was years ago, but well maintained. Prices are decent.

Count Basie was born in Red Bank, NJ, so it stands to reason this 2,500 seat former Vaudville theater is named after him. Top flight entertainment is presented all year. New Jersey Symphony, Cyndi Lauper, Judy Collins, Pheonix Productions. You name it, the Basie has it. Beautiful venue in a great town also.
