Can't say enough good things about the Count Basie! We are exceptionally fortunate to have this great venue, a jewel in Red Bank. Where else can I see a great show and be home by 10:30P? Not a bad seat in the house. The musical acts are terrific, and you don't have to fight traffic into NYC, need I say... More

Count Basie is a great place to catch shows that are often priced higher at a major city/bigger venues. By going to its box office, can also save on expensive online/phone order fees charged by major agencies.

There is not a bad seat in the Count Basie theater. It has great sight lines and is small enough so that everyone in the audience has a good seat. The theater is beautiful (it underwent a major restoration) and is a historical landmark. The theater offers a wonderful variety of entertainers from all of the performing arts.

Almost every seat is good except I once got the last row in the top section and hated it. Better off spending a little more money and getting better seats.

We have gone to more that two dozen shows at Count Basie Theater and absolutely love it there. The shows are great and the seating is wonderful. You can see from just about any seat in the house. The theater holds about 1500 people, so you don't have to fight crowds and stand in line to get in. The musical... More

Attended the Wanda Sykes performance. As usual, the ushers were friendly and helpful, the seating was perfect (there are No bad seats!), and the sound was excellent. I've NEVER been disappointed with any Performance, either in the Theater nor 99 Playhouse.

Theatre always comfortable, clean, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, easy to purchase tickets to show. Do wish rest rooms were more accesible, though.

We attended the NJ Symphony Orchestra performance on 3/1. The theater is lovely--acoustics are great and we really enjoy most of the shows here. The rock groups get too loud--I do like to hear myself think--but the symphony is wonderful!! We have balcony seats--excellent sound up there!

First visit to the Count Basie for a recent concert. Access to the theater by car, located in an area teeming with restaurants, was a breeze. Finding a parking space was not! First "mild" evening in a while so the streets were full of fun-seeking crowds. Theater holds just over 1,500 people, so getting to our seats was not an... More

We love this theatre and go to shows here several times a year. They've made lots of improvements to the facility, and it's now a very attractive and intimate venue. Best of all, it's located in Red Bank, a great little town!
