We stopped in with a Groupon in June, and tasted all the wines they had there. They best was the Chambourcin, which I would give a 6/10 on my most generous day. Other than that, Terhune is a great place for festivals and kids. Try Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes if you want a good, central NJ wine tasting experience.

My husband and I brought our 7yr old son and 4 year old daughter here on a Sat in late June to go blueberry picking. The grounds are beautiful, the farm animals very amusing (especially Uncle Buck, the goose) and the general store is full of delicious produce, cookies and pies. We picked 4 lbs of deliciously plump blueberries for... More

My husband and I have been coming here for near nine years. We just brought our 9 month old for a quick first visit on a sunny afternoon. It was great to look at the animals and take some photos on the tractors and just walk around the beautiful farm. We had some of their delicious cookies as well. It... More

We had a coupon for wine tasting and discovered a farm and winery that has so much more! Loved some of their wines especially the Rooster Red. The lady at the wine tasting barn was so friendly and told us all about the history of the farm and what it has to offer. I am looking forward to going back... More

Cute farm with some pretty Do the wine tasting and walk the grounds. Check out the farm store as well. They have a great selection of fresh produce and homemade pies. This place has a lot to offer between the festivals (spring- summer- fall) and the animals on the property. The dogs are super sweet, but will steal your marshmallows... More

We were out for the day doing wine tastings and expected this to be the worst. Pleasantly surprised by the wines. Bought a delightful bottle of rooster red. We then went in the farm shop and got the most decadent shortbread cookies. I also bought a pot pie to take home for dinner and OMG that would be worth a... More

During October, we visited Terhune for apple picking and the harvest festival and had a really great time. Apple picking is located away from the festival area so it was much quieter. Many of the apple trees were picked clean, but the apples we did get were delicious and made a great apple crisp! We also visited the store and... More

Terhune orchards on cold soil rd, is a great place for families. Throughout most of the year, you can go for free to walk around the farm and visit the animals, shop the farm store, and pick select fruits. However during the fall, they run a festival style event on the weekends where you pay an entrance fee. Parking during... More

We moved to central Jersey last year. We've been amazed at the number of farmer's markets, u-pick places and the like. The is probably the best of the bunch. Always open. Lots of things to do

We used to visit Terhune's often when our daughter was young 20 years ago, and did all our veggie and fruit shopping there. We stay away from it now. It has become very commercialized and extremely expensive, and we can no longer get the quality foods that we were able to get before (their pies have gone downhill in quality,... More
