We have lived in many towns and used many libraries. This is definitely one of the very best. The staff is amiable and very helpful; the on line services terrific; the large number of courses, performances, computers and other helpful equipment and more and more are all geared towards making this a community learning and meeting center. There are a... More

The Princeton Public Library is housed in a beautiful building. I especially liked that they have a used book section where books are sold for cheap! If you have a library card parking is free for two hours.

I had occasion to take my 3-month-old granddaughter to Story Time twice in one week, and was very impressed. The stories, songs and general baby-watching kept my little one very entertained and engaged.

It is hard to describe the quality of this library. They have an amazing program for members to attend museums and attractions in this area for no cost. We have been to MoMA, the sculpture garden in Hamilton, PAFA, New York City Museum, Frick, Guggenheim--all for free. It is a great way to be able to take your family to... More

My title says it all. Princeton's Public Library is a real jewel: it is beautiful to look it and serves as a real community meeting point, not just for a huge selection of books and DVDS, but for its cafe, lectures, and much more. Easy parking (free for the first 2 hours) and situated within a plaza with restaurants, shops,... More

Stopped in here hoping they might have a book sale ... Boy do they ever, most library book sales are a few shelves of paperbacks and Dick Francis mysteries... They have that, plus serious books in a variety of subject areas, prices are fair ( if it is expensive it was probably REALLY pricey new. ) and there is a... More

We live in Princeton, homeschool our son, and visit the library 1-2x weekly. Wonderful selection of kid's books, magazines, and movies. Great nooks for reading, quiet play, and computers. Nice food bar right before entrance. Great location in town - shops, restaurants, and ice cream all within same block. My son really looks forward to his visits.
