Wine and pizza

Always a wonderful time visiting the enoteca especially when the snow begins to fall. The Ravello pizzas were great and went well with the wine.

This is by far my favorite South Jersey winery. We showed up and immediately did the wine tasting. We tried eight wines for $5 and got the keep the wine glass. What a great deal. We sat down and ordered a few bottles and also got some pizza. They have a fabulous outside seating area that over looks the Vineyard.... More

Met some friends at Auburn Road, our first visit, and was pleased with the layout and courteous staff. Tasting is $5 for 8 samples and you take home a wine glass; that's a great deal. I prefer red wines yet their Sole white was bubbly and recommended for sangria, which I definitely agree. I like that the winemaker blends his... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write! I am glad that you enjoyed your experience with us. I totally understand your view of Chambourcin. It is not a common wine grape, at least not outside of the mid-atlantic states. In Virginia, Maryland, Pa, NJ and NY you see it quite a bit. It is a French-American hybrid that... More

Tucked away at the end of a small tree lined road in Pilesgrove, NJ is a rustic cottage that sells one of New Jersey's finest homemade wine from grapes grown on their own vineyard. Enoteca is a cozy hideaway on Auburn Road that we try to visit as often as possible even though we live almost 2 hours away. For... More

Very pleasant outdoor dining with a nice view of the vineyard. My wife and I had lunch here and the food was good, not exceptional. The wine is fine for this area although overpriced but we have been here twice and would certainly return for the view and experience if for nothing else.

Thank you so much for writing! We really do appreciate when people take the time to communicate their experiences with us. We really do have a beautiful place and take part of the credit for that but really it has mostly to do with the natural beauty of the area. I would be very interested to know what you had... More

Went there on a Saturday about 5:30pm. The hostess said that all outside tables were taken, which was ok because I don't like dealing with bugs while eating. The dining room was very noisey. We only had to wait about five minutes for our waitress. My wife and I ordered a bottle of wine and pizza. There were one or two... More

Thank you for taking the time to write - we really do appreciate it! And I am so with you on this! I hate flies! We try all kinds of sustainable ways of controlling them (we don't like to use too much in the way of pesticides in the vineyard) and we have mixed success. We also try to keep... More

Went to cowtown flea market which was not good. However, there was a booth from Auburn Vineyards. Woman told us about it and we took thee short drive. It was wonderful! Had some wine and cheese platter. Sadly, we had eaten an awful lunch earlier, but the food we saw coming out looked awesome. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Having reviewed Auburn Winery previously, I am compelled to report things at the establishment have changed… sadly, not for the better. In January, our experience at Auburn approached a level of excellence not typical of New Jersey vineyards or, many other establishments for that matter. However, yesterday’s visit left us disappointed and wondering if we ever want to go back.... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write. Your review was very detailed and well considered and I personally really appreciate the effort that was put into it. I went back are read your January review and I am saddened at how that review sits in such stark contrast to this one. And that is obviously entirely our fault.... More
