We love Ocean City and have been returning every summer for over 15 years. My kids and husband love it. So relaxing and clean and family oriented.

wonderful beach, wide, flat, swimmable, There are nearby bathrooms, first aid station, and life guards are on duty 9-5. Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. the sand is clean, easy to dig and mold, so bring a shovel. We all had a great time at this beach.

The beach is well situated and not a long walk to get to the facilities and the board walk is right behind you. You can get food and bring it back to your spot with no problem at all. The people were friendly and everything was clean.

We stayed around 34th street, so pretty far from the boardwalk, which was just what I wanted. The house we rented provided beach tags which made it even better (not being from NJ I hate paying for the beach). In our area the water was calm and the sand was powder soft. They had restrooms and a rental shack at... More

I've been a Jersey resident for most of my life, but somehow it took me 37 years to make it to OC. I've been to pretty much ever major beach spot in the state, but somehow missed this gem. I guess as you get older and have kids, you aren't as interested in visiting the more popular spots like the... More

This was our first trip to OCNJ. We were surprised at how clean it was but then found out it is a dry town - that explains it! We had a blast. The beaches were nice, busy, but we had fun.

We went to Ocean City beach for the day because it was the closest beach to where we were staying. What a great idea! The whole town is clean and new looking. The beach is nice, boardwalk is clean, lots to do -- great time! We will be back! One of the best beach towns and boardwalks we have been... More

I like OCB, but unfortunately it is no longer my favorite. They need major public services such as garbage cans. First of all, why should I pay to go into a public beach, $5 per person over the age of 11 yrs. You can walk around, but if you want to get close to the water, pay up. No parking... More

I've always preferred heading to Avalon or Stone Harbor for the day and coming to Ocean City in the evening. But it's a nice beach if you want a one stop visit. Plenty of facilities, friendly lifeguards, good restaurants and shops. There are tags that you need to purchase, which some beaches (like wildwood...or any other state...) don't have. But... More

one of the best family beaches and boardwalks. Our first date was here and 17 years later, it's still wonderful!
