The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse has a great history. There is a wonderful butterfly garden in the front. We've seen many different butterflies on our yearly visits. The gardens behind the lighthouse are beautifully designed and provide a quiet spot to study the lighthouse structure. There is also a path that leads out to a great ocean view.

Very lovely gardens and a scenic lighthouse in North Wildwood. We have many photos from the abundant flowers. It is a short walk through the garden to the sea wall.

I used to visit the lighthouse with my family all the time when I was little. We decided to go back last year and still loved it! The property is beautiful and well-kept. I love that they go in depth about all of the rich history of the property as well. It's very interesting!

My family loves the Hereford Lighthouse. It's beautiful and historic and the gardens around it are simply breathtaking. You cannot visit North Wildwood and not stop here for a quick stroll. It's a must!

I have been going to Wildwood for almost 60 years, and never stopped in to see the light and it's grounds. Of course it was restored for many of those years. It is very interesting, and the gardens are beautiful. Take an hour out of your vacation to enjoy the piece of Wildwood history.

A bit too 'done up' for tourists in search of the authentic... but quite nice for families and even romantic lovers. It is easy to get to and certainly one of Wildwood's highlights.

Wanted to find this place as they were having a Pirate Festival. We had a very nice time at the festival. The next day decided to revisit the lighthouse, so glad we did, as we did not know about the beautiful gardens. Went in the gift shop and spoke with the person who started and designed the gardens. Walked all... More

Haven't been there in a while, but what an amazing treat in North Wildwood,. I fell in love with the gardens that were so lovingly cared for by volunteers. Hollyhocks, double hollyhocks and so many more amazing flowers just take your breath away. The lighthouse is a treat as well. Bring your camera!!!

Nicely restored lighthouse on the edge of North Wildwood. Staff are always friendly and pleasant. The gardens outside are beautiful in the summer and fall and are very well maintained. Even if you don't want to go in the lighthouse you can still take a stroll through the gardens. A must see while in the Wildwoods.

It's a short walk or drive to the lighthouse. They have beautiful grounds and flowers. It's a real working lighthouse
