The Old West comes alive here and gives an historical perspective of life in the late 1800s. You talk with employees dressed in period attire and see cowboys on horseback running through the dirt street just like they did years ago when pioneers trekked West to explore. There is activity throughout the day and if going for a ride on... More

We recently took our soon to be 3 year old and soon to be six year old for a day trip here. I have to admit I wasn't sure what we were going to see, but it was really fun. I will admit that it was a bit over the top for our little guy, but his big brother loved... More

Rustic, old, run down. Whatever you want to call it. It's entertaining for the kids. I'm not an animal rights activist but the petting zoo was a bit disturbing. The pony rides as well should probably be reported and shut down as they are walked tied to a wheel and walking in circles all day. Some actors were less enthusiastic... More

It was nothing like we expected. The place had virtually no actors walking around. The speaker system was shot and hard to hear. We went to buy a hot dog in a place that only sells hot dogs and they had no buns. We got an old time picture taken and the camera had no ribbon to print. However, they... More

I took my 5 yr old daughter and was nervous that she wouldn't like it or there wouldn't be enough going on to keep her occupied, just the opposite! She loved it and once the entertainment started at 11am then every 5 mins there was something else going on, and it was all different and not the same shows/demos repeated... More

I have been bringing my kids there for years. Gives kids a chance to see, hear, smell, and experience the American West with absolutely NO technology needed!!

The Good Most of the staff is good to excellent. The theme is somewhat hard to find elsewhere. The shows are very good and kid friendly. The weak Maintenance is spotty to poor. Poor parking lot and the farm area. Some of the displays are little more than trash pickings. Its a bit of a money pit. Food is expensive... More

The Grandkids had fun at the old west. They thought it was awesome. They had no idea what the old west was like. Nice picnic area where you can leave your stuff all day and no one bothers it. The Shows keep the kids very entertained. The loved the train, and stagecoach rides.

As many reviewers have stated that they were there when they were kids I can also say the same. I was there before I started kindergarten sometime I guess around 1965 or so. A total Jersey thing! Fortunately or not, I don't think the place has changed much since the Johnson Administration. Anyway I guess WWC is in the eye... More

We visited in May 2013, all the way from England. Its very cheesy, which we were expecting, and some touches are fab such as the shows with the actors and the stage coach. Some of it was so tired and drab though, and what really made me nervous was the sign in the restroom detailing the identification of e.coli at... More
