What a delightful little visit the weekend of the Miss America Pageant; Lucy the Elephant was one of the floats in the Miss A Parade the afternoon before the pageant, so we had to visit! A mere 6 mile drive south of AC, we easily found Lucy and enjoyed the visit. The volunteers in the Gift Shop were delightful, happy... More

where else in the world can you walk thru an elephant?? So much history, and what an interesting (and long) life this place has had! Help save Lucy and take half an hour to step back in time. I remember going as a small child and the sensation was still the same today!

Very fun and exciting to experience. I took my mom, sister, and girlfriend and they loved it! I am amazed that they allow you to go up to the very top. The view from there is great. To see what it is today and learn how it almost was lost forever was quite a learning experience.
