If you want to go to Ms. liberty or Ellis Island or both this vessel is the one you need to board. Extreme professional staff. The onboard restaurant way too overpriced.

Excellent value for money for a ticket Liberty and Ellis Islands plus a ticket to the pedestal of Lady Liberty. **Note: for tickets to go up the Statue of Liberty (crown or pedestal) book way in advance. There are a limited amount of tickets for this for safety issues.**

I can't believe I've lived near statue of liberty and I've never been. Traveling by staten island ferry doesn't count. There is so much to do just at Ellis Island. after you get off boat, 15 min ride from Jersey City you get headphone and gadget to hear auido tour you work on your own pace. My wife had to... More

You can take the ferry from NJ or NYC and return to a different city. If you're staying in NJ it's a nice option and the ferry boat was MUCH less crowded from NJ than from NYC. Nothing special on the ferry boat but you can't go to NY for a visit without seeing the Statue of Liberty. Get at... More

There are dozens of tour companies that would like you to pay lots of money for New York tours that include the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. But this is the only one that actually takes you to those islands. The boats are a bit old and rickety, but they do the job. If at all possible LEAVE FROM... More

It's hard to rate something when you only have one option. This is the only way to go to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. We purchased reserved tickets online before-hand and that is really the only way to go especially if you want crown access at the Statue. We chose the pedestal access but we were able to... More

I wish I could rate this higher, I really do. The customer service was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was great to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I would recommend everyone to do this ONCE. But once is enough. The boat ride is enjoyable and you can get lots of great pics... But, once you... More

I guess I misunderstood what I paid for. What I thought I paid for- leisurely boat ride to the Statue of Liberty. What I endured- packed lines, lot of shoving while waiting for the boat. Onboard-more shoving, packed in like sardines, exorbitant prices for small amounts of comfort foods from a vendor not accepting credit cards. Ugh, I wish I... More

You and the rest of the world want to go there, but be sure to pick an off-peak day/time with a good weather forecast. You'll be standing outside in the sun A LOT (up to 45 minutes at a time); so a hot day is not going to be the best. The island hopping ferries stop at Liberty and Ellis... More

The ferry was a welcome relief to standing in the sun and waiting without food/drink/bathroom. Although it was crowded, things moved along well and the ferry was comfortable. Great view of the Statue of Liberty from the water!
