It's hard to rate something when you only have one option. This is the only way to go to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. We purchased reserved tickets online before-hand and that is really the only way to go especially if you want crown access at the Statue. We chose the pedestal access but we were able to... More

I wish I could rate this higher, I really do. The customer service was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was great to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I would recommend everyone to do this ONCE. But once is enough. The boat ride is enjoyable and you can get lots of great pics... But, once you... More

I guess I misunderstood what I paid for. What I thought I paid for- leisurely boat ride to the Statue of Liberty. What I endured- packed lines, lot of shoving while waiting for the boat. Onboard-more shoving, packed in like sardines, exorbitant prices for small amounts of comfort foods from a vendor not accepting credit cards. Ugh, I wish I... More

You and the rest of the world want to go there, but be sure to pick an off-peak day/time with a good weather forecast. You'll be standing outside in the sun A LOT (up to 45 minutes at a time); so a hot day is not going to be the best. The island hopping ferries stop at Liberty and Ellis... More

The ferry was a welcome relief to standing in the sun and waiting without food/drink/bathroom. Although it was crowded, things moved along well and the ferry was comfortable. Great view of the Statue of Liberty from the water!

This cruise took us to Ellis Island and then the Statue of Liberty. It was enjoyable and nicely managed since there were so many people attending these sites. We went on a Wednesday during July and had no problem getting our tickets the night before in the lobby of the hotel we were staying at. If you want to go... More

Classic tourist trap. Hours of waiting for every boat. No shade in the waiting areas on either the NJ or Liberty Island so miserable for everyone in the heat. The company should be required to at least provide a canopy. The staff herds you like cattle, yelling to hurry up as you embark and disembark that others are waiting. Really... More

To see the statue we decided to take the package and get in line. All by all a 2 hours of waiting , rude security measures , people skipping the line , and minute by minute less interest. But ok asked the staff : another 20 minutes , was an hour. Finally on board and that's where we stayed. Seeing... More

Anyone coming to NYC must to the Statue of Liberty. We didn't plan far enough in advance to get to go the crown - but did the pedastal. Once you know when you are going, book for the crown right away.

We recently took the NJ ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. It is true that they pack everyone onto the ferry, but we were never uncomfortable. There is plenty of seating and even with two small children I always felt safe. Great picture opportunities from all sides of the ferry. The staff is efficient and there to... More
