Enjoyed our trip to the island & statue. Just started too late. Took the 11:00 boat and actually ran out of time to get off and view the Statue of Liberty.

The signage and lay out could use improvement. It is a 400 meter walk out to the boarding area, so make sure your party is capable of that. There are no rest rooms that I noticed. The boat itself was clean and comfortable. The on board speakers were not working where we were seated. The battery destined ferries were far... More

My husband took my son & I here for my birthday. The cruise left from New Jersey, went to Ellis Island and then to the Statue of Liberty and back to New Jersey. You could spend as much or as little time as you wanted at the Statue and Ellis Island. We caught the Ferry at about 10:45 am and... More

I've read the hit and miss reviews here on TA about this cruise. We had a good time with no complaints. Reserved an earlier time and parking and wait time was not an issue. While they were not overly friendly or helpful with directions they were not bad either and it was easy enough to figure it out. The ride... More

1) No clear instructions on how to get to the ferry. 2) No wheel chair for people with disability to get from the parking to the ferry. 3) No shade from parking to ferry. 4) No place to sit in the shade. Overall was a terrible experience. If you have old people with disabilities please avoid at all costs.

I frequently take out-of-town guests on a Statue Cruise. I think it is one of the best values in the area. So easy to buy tickets online; the security is fairly quick and the boat ride is a lovely way to get to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. If it is too hot outside, there are plenty of... More

Tickets are easy to get online, but if you want to get to the crown in the statue of liberty, you need to book early, in august they were only available for November!!

We wanted to go to the crown but due to a problem processing payment online we had to be refunded. (due to UK debit or something!?) Instead we turned up at the kiosk at Battery Park around 8.30am. Frequent tours meant we only had to wait about 15 minutes after passing through the security gates. The trip itself included grounds... More

While the Statue of Liberty is a great work of art, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of organization in the way the ferry is run. The place where you get tickets is a bit away from the boat. We waited in line only to find out that we can't buy tickets there and had walk to the... More

Ellis Island is the most time consuming as there is so much to see and read. Food there is actually really good and reasonably priced. But you can also pack a lunch if you want. Liberty Island has 3 gift shops that I saw. I found the one right where you walk in to have the most things and better... More
