This was my first time going back to Six Flags after 2 years. My girlfriend and I went and had a really good time there. THE COST Six Flags is not a day on the cheap, but I wouldn't say it is expensive either! We went on a Friday and bought two Combo (Park and Safari Tickets) from AAA for... more

Unbelievable. The show is by Pyrotecnico and it's on Saturday nights, at 10 pm,right after the Glow in the Dark parade. It won all kinds of awards and I can see why! Definitely the most amazing fireworks I have ever seen..might be a little loud and scary for little ones though, but they probably wouldn't be out that late anyway!... more

I live close by and I no longer get season passes. The parking lot is always crowded and costs $15. The line to get in is always long. The lines for rides are equally long. The biggest difference between this park and other family amusement parks, is that this park is not a family amusement park. It does not cater... more

Six Flags is the greatest place for any roller coaster lover to go. WIth Superman, Batman, El Toro, Kingda Ka, Nitro, Medusa/Bizzaro this is a park you do not want to miss. Not only are the rides here amazing but they also have pretty good food taking into consideration that it is an amusement park. The lines are not that... more

Like most people who grew up in the NY/NJ/PA area in the 1970's and 1980's my wife and I both went to Great Adventure multiple time over the years. Neither of us have been there in about 15 years driven away by the rampant anti-social behavior and a reputation as a magnet for the troubled masses of a three state... more

I went to GA on Wednesday 5/20/09. I had a season pass from Magic Mountain with parking so did not have to pay anything to get in. I got there kinda late 2:30 and there was a line waiting to re-enter. There was no one waiting to enter for the 1st time. 2 rides were closed Bizarro (aka Madusa -... more

I've had season passes for years. The rides are really good (except Dark Knight...HORRIBLE), but the lines are always long. They have that thing where you can pay to cut the line, but its expensive and i hear it doesn't save waiting time. The food is super expensive and you have to pay for parking. The safari is really cool,... more

I live one town east from Six Flags Great Adventure and I have to say that they made a good attempt to make their park even better. During the 90's, this park was very unsafe. Lots of muggings and other crime. Their staff is now friendlier however their ride quality is starting to go downhill. Last year they closed 3... more

I've gone there quite a few times over the years and love it. Great Adventure has the tallest, fastest roller coaster in the world: Kingda Ka; as well as other steel and wooden giants: Nitro, Great American Scream Machine, The Dark Knight Coaster, Superman-Ultimate Flight, Batman the Ride, El Toro, and the new Bizarro (replacing Medusa, opening Memorial Day weekend).... more

Six Flags Great Adventure was by far one of the best parks I've been to in a long time. My sister and I are definitely thrill seekers. After having been on the Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay we were hard pressed to find something to top it. The Kingda Ka is it. As far as a thrill rictor scale... more
