I love Six Flags' season pass. It allows you all year entrance to Hurricane Harbor (water park) and Six Flags Great Adventure (theme park). You can also access coupons associated with your pass online. I also purchased the meal plan which give you a choice of one free snack, lunch, and dinner each time you go to either park. Within... Many people associate Great Adventure with thrill rides but this isn't totally true. Besides the amazing roller coasters and other thrill rides, there is plenty for young children as well. There are area around the park that are sectioned off for small children. They Looney Toons characters are entertaining, and the park also features super hero memorabilia as well.

We visited Great Adventure a couple of weeks ago - our first trip this 2015 season. The flowers were all planted, the park is so clean. The food is good!! We purchased a season pass along with the dining pass!! So worth the money!! This year not only do you receive two meals, lunch and dinner, they also give you... More

If you are looking for a day filled with thrill rides, then Six Flags Great Adventure is for you. Step onto any of their rollercoasters, Kindga Ka, El Toro and you will walk off saying, WOW! There are also rides for smaller children. But for teens and older, you can't ask for a better day!

As amusement parks go, this is not one of the decent ones! To be fair we did visit on Memorial Day weekend, however just because it was busy does in no way account for the numerous problems we encountered! We began the day waiting 45 minutes to go through security, followed by another 45 minutes of waiting to go through... More

The park is relatively close to us so we go enough to make the season pass work for us. Yet I do not see this as a 'destination park' as perhaps Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. In part because aside the outlets there is nothing to do nearby in Jackson, but also because unless you are ok waiting in line all... More

You are a kid or a grown up, doesn't matter. One of the biggest adventure parks in new jersey between new York and Philadelphia. Here you have plenty of rides. You must try the huge rollercoaster here. If you live in the vicinity you can buy season passes and then you can bring in visitors for free. Food options are... More

Went on opening day of 2015. Park looked weathered and tired, not what you would expect on an opening weekend. Numerous rides were not working and/or would shut down because of mechanical difficulties without any explanation of how long it will take to repair. Tried to speak with Customer service after only going on 3 rides after 8 hours and... More

We went here as a family of 5 in Summer 2014. We purchased our entrance and premium flash pass (over $750) so this was an expensive day! The rides were run by kids with little senior supervision. At one point, my 6 year old was ushered onto the El Toro roller coaster by a staff member when she was 4... More
