Went for a visit and got to the park upon opening. Lines were not really a issue till late in the afternoon. We went on many rides that had no line including the runaway train and Bizarro. One thing that is a bother is that trip after trip it seems like the same rides are not open when the park... More

It is the best theme park I have been to. Some of the rides were so crazy, I just closed my eyes as I could not open my eyes to see what was happening to me. Totally satisfying.

My wife and I use to include the supposedly best roller coasters in the world in our vacations. Six Flags was our first mistake and it was a big one. If you've been to Sea World (Manta is great!) and Universal Studios, for example, you'll notice there's something really wrong the minute you enter Six Flags. Unmotivated employees, huge lines,... I'd like to start my review by saying I've lived 30 minutes away from this park all my life. So I've been there over 100 times. But I haven't gone within the passed 5 years because I was away at college and other things. The park, in general is good. It's a breeding ground of roller coasters. So if you... More

Traveled from the baltimore area to NJ on 10/25/2014 for the great adventure fright Fest. It was absolutely horrible. They placed was so crowded, they make you pay an extra $20 (or $15 for season pass holders) to go to the 6 haunted trail attractions. The lines for each of these were about 1-2+ hours. The haunted attractions were a... More

I wish the title was an overstatement, but in reality it is an understatement. I never imagined that there would be so many people coming to GA on 10/25/14. At 1:00 P.M. I waited in line for Kingda KA 1:45!!! Sad thing is, Kilamanjaro has ruined the ride because the capacity decreased by alost 50%. When the Drop of Doom... More

We bought our 2015 season passes in September and today was our third visit. We arrived at 1:30 and already the parking lot was 2/3 full. We did a few rides and just hung out until dead man's party and the zombie parade. Both were very disappointing. The actors lip synch to generic Halloween rock music at painfully high volume.... This park is way overpriced, there is an extra charge for everything, $25.00-$35.00 for parking, $70.00 per person to get in the park, $70.00 per person for fast passes, $50.00 per person for the fright feast attraction. $12.50 per person for bottomless soda, this without a bite to eat. I went to Disney this past summer and found it to... More

Great Adventure is a staple in NJ. Food is very highly priced in my opinion, so we always drive down the road for food, but the ridiculous number of good coasters is amazing. NITRO is AWESOME, as is El Toro, Medusa-turned-Bizarro, Superman, Kingda Ka for the steady of heart, Batman, and a slew of others. Fright Fest makes it especially... More

One of our most unfortunate experiences was at the end of our day. We were going on the Houdini experience and did notice the warning signs, but saw no lockers (for a $1.) as at other rides. I would say 1/3 of the guests had purses, sip cups and/or bags, but as we went through the first turnstile, the employee... More
