Pat gave a thorough tour of local favorites including two delis, a bread bakery, candy shop, pastry shop, coffee shop, and the famous Carlo's bakery. In between stops, Pat gave us a genuine account of life in Hoboken as well as tid bits on the fascinating history of the town. Overall, a great value and an afternoon very well spent.

We had family in from Texas who wanted to see the Cake Boss. I decided to include the Hoboken Food & Culture Tour and I'm so glad we did. It was a nice walking tour of town (wear comfortable shoes) and our guide was a local who knew his stuff! Really enjoyed it!

My fiance' and I loved this tour. There were only 4 of us total on the tour so it was very personal. I do believe the Super Bowl was the main reason for the low turnout. Unlike some of the other reviews about the Cake Boss we didn't see this to be an issue. I want to comment that we... More

You first must know that you should be wearing walking shoes and depending on the weather, a jacket. I was prepared but I did not know this. Either I did not see that in the description or it was not posted. But it was GREAT! We went in November and it was chilly but sunny. We met a lot of... More

The tour is excellent, great tour guide that knew a lot about the city and was ver informational! Excellent tastings and the stops were great....the best being Lisa's and watching the brothers make cheese (the best in hoboken in our opinion). This tour is relaxed and so relaxed that 3 1/2 hours is too long. All of it was standing... More

We enjoyed our Guide, he was very knowledgable of the city, you could tell he knew and had relationships with the shop owners/workers. Great insight into the history of Hoboken. Loved visiting Lisa's and the homemade Mozz!!!

We love to do these type of tours and have done many in NYC. We live in NJ and thought seeing a 'local' place would be fun. We are not cake boss fanatics but seeing where it started was interesting. Lisa's deli was great. The owner gave us a great talk on how mozzarella is made. He was an entertaining... More
