WOW, built on the old Trenton racetrack, with much more history, this is an Amazing artists DREAMLAND, is VERY interesting/wonderful/educational/amusing/enlighting to anyone with interest in ART!!! I LOVED this place. I wandered for hours amazed at the talent and awe.... Thank you sooooo much Mr. Seward Johnson, for being able to create this area for all to see. EVEN before... More

If you are passing through new jersey you must visit the grounds for sculpturs. The grounds are located in a peaceful park along side a lake, and display a wide variety of art sculpturs which make the park something of a nature/art walk which is enjoyable for the whole family. And the restaurant there is one of the best in... More

Had never heard of this wonderful place, but decided to visit on a garden club trip from Maryland. How they have transformed what was a barren landscape 27 years ago (as shown in the visitors center) to this beautiful and fascinating garden and sculpture park in truly inspiring. It is like walking into a dream world. Helpful Hint: Be sure... More

No one has ever heard of it, even people who live very close. Depends upon the show they have at the time

I have seen art displayed both indoors and outdoors all over the world. This has to be the most awesome display of outdoor art that I have ever experienced. The sculptures reflect various masterpieces and themes, the trees, flowers, and over-all landscape nicely compliment the various pieces/scenes. The park is quietly sophisticated simplicity, playful, and magical. If ever in this... More

One can get lost in the grounds, not literally. Walking the grounds you stumble across a sculpture or a fountain or something and for a minute you could be in an English countryside. My company sponsored a scavenger hunt there. It was informative and fun.

Sculptures smaller and varied here, has large pond and ducks and geese and peacocks, some art in form of life-size people laying under trees or in the grass (e.g., art book nearby with the very same situation depicted in a painting), even landscape and plants/trees are thoughtfully incorporated. Worth the fee!

As a NJ local - I've seen many amazing corners of the Garden State - but none compare to this place. The variety & layout of the grounds are so well done & you are almost transported 'into' the artwork at times. Very well done - allow for 2-3 hours (at least) and be prepared to walk a lot -

What a wonderful afternoon in the country. The grounds are beautiful and the art blew my mind. Not unusual to walk up to a piece of sculpture and start a conversation thinking it's real. If you have the time this is a must see

We have visited the Grounds for Sculpture on two prior visits. Once we took the guided tour and once we toured on our own. Both experiences were in different seasons and we thoroughly enjoyed them. This time we went on their Full Moon Tour that occurs once a month at 9pm with dinner prior in their restaurant. This is a... More
