This was an unbelievable experience. Friends had suggested this place when I was visiting them and I had never heard of it so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. When we started walking along the path to some of the sculptures I was amazed at what I saw, live sized sculptures representing so many of the "Old Masters" paintings.... More

A very expansive venue of sculpture spread out over many acres. Featured is the work of Seward Johnson. I especially liked his three-dimensional reconstructions of Renoir's paintings.

My friends brought me here while I was visiting in PA.. we were not sure what to expect, but we loved it! Something new to discover around every turn...remember to explore every little turn, open every door, peek thru every path-you never know what you may find :) So many people seemed to pass by some of our favorite finds-because they didn't explore... The first surprise was that the town of Hamilton has sculptures scattered all about. This helps to set the stage for the fun experience of the actual garden. Who knew something so cool could be found in what looks like a rather industrial town in New Jersey? My family and I spent several hours wandering around the Grounds For Sculpture.... More

Everyone should see this place... Mr. Seward Johnson of J&J is responsible for this fantastic place. If you want an idea of what sculptures are there, just go on the website & they have photos of many. There's a restaurant on site called "Rats" which is pricey but very good.

I have been here a number of times, mostly for pleasure but I did once attend a work function here. The art work is varied and there's something for everyone, including children. There's a small café as well as Rats Restaurant which is very nice. They can host large groups and special occasions - nice if you're looking for something... More

Very cool place to walk around, but the entry fee is not cheap. If you're on a strict budget trip don't come here, it is very expensive. Otherwise, the sculptures are really cool and the grounds are very nice, I'd come back if I didn't have to pay for it.
