Our Family is fortunate by being located very close to this Treasure in the Trenton Area. A little history. The Grounds for Sculpture is located on what once was the Trenton Fairgrounds where as a child I spent many hours at the yearly Fair. These were bygone days when Trenton was an area of numerous Potteries, and Hundreds of Manufacturing... More

Went in the Fall.Wear comfy shoes - you'll be walking. Life like sculptures everywhere, Put yourself among the sculptures - we still have fun looking back on all the pic's , finding ourselves among the sculptures. Don't miss the gift shop ( you're going to want the jewelry) & Seriously, treat yourself & eat at the restaurant. " Rats ".... More

Was very impressed on how life like some of the sculpture were. Others were massive, also very impressive. A couple of the "art" items were on the crude side but overall my group with ages ranging from 3 to 80 enjoyed. Grounds are very well kept and they have a good cafe for lunch.

A great place to visit, must see! Choose a warm sunny day, you'll do plenty of walking. Bring your family, kids, friends, this place fits everyone! Also, a great workshop, where you can see how art is made and buy it!

Early December actually provided a beautiful day to walk the grounds and view all of the art and sculptures. It was really neat to see so many art works reproduced in life size or larger than life size pieces. Although about an hour from our house, we would visit again and would bring out of town guests as well as... More

This place was recommended to me on the TA Forums and I'm glad I went. I arrived just in time for a docent tour and the guide did a great job of explaining some of the pieces. The only issue with the tour was the large number of loud obnoxious children but the docent did a decent job of talking... More

We attended a wedding at the Grounds for Sculpture, in a kind of amphitheatre surrounded by lush plants and with modern touches. The setting was beautiful and we had the chance to visit the area around the wedding site, with many interesting sculptures, meticulous lawns and a few live peacocks strutting around. Dinner was served in a large reception area;... More

Grounds for Sculpture has beautiful grounds (even in the winter) and we enjoyed walking around and looking at the various objects. Not being into art, the oddly shaped objects were not especially interesting to us but the actual sculptures are VERY IMPRESSIVE! Most of them are lifelike and look genuine! We especially enjoyed the two grannies that are much larger... More

Grounds for Sculpture was highly recommended by a friend to experience something different within our logistical reach. The Grounds are encompassed with art in it's truest form, stemming from talent, history, imagination and creativity. Here you will feel like a kid in Alice in Wonderland while walking amongst icons of our history such as the larger than life-size Marilyn Monroe,... More
