All of the animals at Popcorn Park Zoo are rescues. Their sad "back stories" are posted by their enclosures. The Humane Society counts on your donations and it's volunteers to continue this much needed rescue work. Dozens of cats and dogs are available for adoption. My grandchildren love visiting. Since it's nearby we go there about twice a year. They... More

Great place to take young children. There are a varied number of animals which the children (and adults) can see and feed. The zoo is clean and well maintained.

I love this zoo because it rescues all the animals that need a home. It may be small but all the animals are well taken care of unlike most zoos/aquariums. I love this place :)

While not a major zoo, all of the animals here are rescues from a variety of sources. A small selection but still nice and feeding the animals popcorn is encouraged. Pretty reasonably priced. Worth an hour or two of your tome

The reason this is different is because ALL these animals have been rescued and rehabilitated. Yep, everything from the ducks to the bears and horses. And the reason it's called Popcorn Park Zoo is because you can buy popcorn to feed to the animals, who, it seems will love you forever when you throw popcorn at them. I would caution... More

Popcorn Park Zoo is really a refuge for all kinds of animals that have been rescued for one reason or another and is owned by the Associated Humane Society, a nonprofit organization. The zoo puts the animals first; therefore, it is not fancy like a regular zoo.The animal compounds are spacious and clean. It is located in the pine lands... More

15 years ago after my great grandmother passed away my grandma was looking for company. She stumbled upon Popcorn Zoo and adopted two kittens. I am pleased to say the process was flawless and the cats are now celebrating 15 years. The zoo's adoption process was professional and they even paid for the neutering and spaying. Before they were even... More

Just went to the zoo and my young daughter loved it. It is amazing how close you can get to most animals. It is a great zoo with a great cause that should have more people visiting. It is great for kids who can feed the animals with popcorn and really get an increased appreciation for what people do to... More
