Popcorn Park Zoo is really a refuge for all kinds of animals that have been rescued for one reason or another and is owned by the Associated Humane Society, a nonprofit organization. The zoo puts the animals first; therefore, it is not fancy like a regular zoo.The animal compounds are spacious and clean. It is located in the pine lands... More

15 years ago after my great grandmother passed away my grandma was looking for company. She stumbled upon Popcorn Zoo and adopted two kittens. I am pleased to say the process was flawless and the cats are now celebrating 15 years. The zoo's adoption process was professional and they even paid for the neutering and spaying. Before they were even... More

Just went to the zoo and my young daughter loved it. It is amazing how close you can get to most animals. It is a great zoo with a great cause that should have more people visiting. It is great for kids who can feed the animals with popcorn and really get an increased appreciation for what people do to... More

Friendly staff, inexpensive and the zoo was a little joy to walk around in. All the animals are rescued from the humane society and the zoo runs on donations. Even still they do not ask much at the gate for admission. They had small bios on many of the animals. Some stories were heartbreaking but all the stories were written... More

Our family has gone to Popcorn Park many times. Some animals roam free (peacocks with large beautiful feathers!)..... my boys always liked watching the monkeys. They can be very entertaining. Food here is limited so bring your own snacks but sometimes there is a food wagon. This zoo is mostly sand in the pine barrens area so it can be... More

Popcorn Park Zoo is a 7 acre gem! Is unlike any zoo I have ever visited. All of the animals have been rescued from unfortunate circumstances. There are small farm animals, i.e. pigs, sheep, goats, as well as tigers, lions and bears, oh my! Admission is a reasonable @ $5 and a box of popcorn to feed the animals is... More

This is a great value for a day out with the kids. There are several areas where kids can interact with the animals as well as look at the animals needing a cage. And most of the animals are rescued from other situations including injuries. Your fee goes toward this effort as well as supporting the existing animals. Bring picnic... More

My 3 Great granddaughters, ages 10, 8 & 6 visited The Popcorn Zoo. The children had a great time feeding the animals & hearing the different sounds of the animals. I was quite surprised that very few of the enclosures had labels or information pertaining to the animals we were looking at. Although i know the Zoo is operated by... More

Nice little zoo that benefits a good cause. Updated amimal enclosures are nice. Good place to take young children. Take a donation of pet items, such as dog food, treats, cat food, even blankets or towels , usually will gain you free admission to zoo.
