This is a great value for a day out with the kids. There are several areas where kids can interact with the animals as well as look at the animals needing a cage. And most of the animals are rescued from other situations including injuries. Your fee goes toward this effort as well as supporting the existing animals. Bring picnic... More

My 3 Great granddaughters, ages 10, 8 & 6 visited The Popcorn Zoo. The children had a great time feeding the animals & hearing the different sounds of the animals. I was quite surprised that very few of the enclosures had labels or information pertaining to the animals we were looking at. Although i know the Zoo is operated by... More

Nice little zoo that benefits a good cause. Updated amimal enclosures are nice. Good place to take young children. Take a donation of pet items, such as dog food, treats, cat food, even blankets or towels , usually will gain you free admission to zoo.

First I want to say Popcorn Park Zoo and their accompanying domestic animal shelter is top rate at helping the animals. To no fault of their own, some exotics and wildlife find themselves needing a home because they've been raised by humans or injured and cannot survive in the wild. For this, the park deserves huge admiration and acknowledgement. I... More

This is a great place for a number of reasons. 1. Its very inexpensive for the family 2. The zoo recuses animals. They have a lot of different animals. The animals are well cared for and the staff is very friendly. It is outside and very roomy so there is plenty of room for parents with strollers and toddlers to... More

This zoo rescues animals so all admissions (which are very reasonable) go to the care of the animals. It is the perfect sized zoo for young children. They have monkeys, bears, tigers along with deer, pigs, cows, turtles and birds. Many more varieties are there. It should take about two hours to complete the entire zoo at the pace of... More

Great place to bring kids. A lot of expenses to maintain. Adopt a cat or dog here. Don't expect them to hand over aper to just anyone. They only adopt if you can prove you will be a loving and responsible pet owner. After all don't want these pets to wind up back in a shelter situation!

Popcorn Park Zoo is a zoo filled with rescued zoo animals. This is one of my favorite day trips with my family. It is so nice to see these animals given a second chance. You can read their stories while visiting the park. There are so many sad stories with happy endings. I am so thankful that this place exists.

I really appreciate what they are doing here; however, I think with just a little more effort it could be better. I lived just across the state line for nearly ten years and never heard of this rescue operation. I had to come back as a visitor to the Jersey Shore to find out about it. On some pens there... Went here for the first time and I really liked it. Small zoo, but plenty of animals to see, including 2 tigers and bears, horses, pigs, alpacas, peacocks, turtles, birds and more. I took my 14month old baby and she loved it. This place is not too big and not too little for small children. There is sand when you... More
