My 2-year-old grandson loved the animals and the riding toys. He especially liked driving a tractor up and down the sandpile. Nice products to purchase, fun for children.

In Hunterdon County there is not a lot of big displays but this display that is put up for the Christmas Holidays is a must see. At the end you can have some hot refreshments and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great place to take a hayride to the pumpkin field and visit the petting zoo and other family attractions.

Christmas time is the only time I ever go here because of their drive thru Christmas light display. Nice drive thru display, but need to change it up a little each year. For the past 3 years, same stuff as prior year.

I grew up in Hunterdon County, and have visited Schaefer Farms many times throughout my lifetime. While the spooky attractions have been altered, the lightshow is now their winter event and their farmstand products change from time to time, there is one thing that has always been consistent. Every single time I have been greeted with smiles and a welcoming... More

I visited Schaefer Farms with my family for the Halloween inspired hayrides. This was my second time there. Last year, we went closer to the end of month and on a weekend night and the time we had to spend on line waiting was very long and tedious. This time, we got there on a Sunday, right before it opened... More

We stopped here for pumpkins after a biking adventure at Round Valley Rec area. It was a beautiful day and we got a cart rule of pumpkins for about $50, which is much more reasonable than other farms we've been to. The people were very friendly. They had an amusement type area, hay rides to a pumpkin patch, a country... More

This is NOT a zoo. The animals DO NOT come out of cage for petting they are for viewing. The rudeness is from you not from owners of a farm stand who love their animals and are close to a road where they can be injured. Future reference pay to go a zoo. Just buy the great vegetables and fruit... More

I live in High Bridge and I usually drive all the way down to Schaefer Farms to get my fresh produce, bird seed, etc. I love watching the kids and the excitement in their faces when they get to interact with the animals at the petting zoo. I see negative reviews here and I can't understand them. I've been going... More
