Absolutely filthy and run down. It looks like the kind of place you could get murdered in and your body would not get discovered for years. Hardly any trains running. If you or your kids like trains this is a great place to visit. If you have ever set up a model train layout you will really appreciate this place. I've been to a few toy train museums and this is definitely the best one. You can easily spend a few hours and not see anything twice. more

I was just at Northlandz yesterday and am glad that I did despite some of the reviews I had seen here. We did not notice and dust or (many) fingerprints, everything was neat.
