This was an amazing undertaking by the builder. Be sure and look for the details and read the signage for the stories and humor in them. Its really Something! Other reviewers stated the place is dusty- I would agree with that, but not quite sure how that cleaning task would get accomplished! A fresh coat of paint at the entrance... More

Getting a bit on - they need to dust everything.... but very interesting overall (look for the outhouse on the cliff). Have take kids there from ages 2-15 and all have enjoyed it (as did I) - but you have to know what you're in for.... It's costly, but entertaining. If you're in the area and are looking for something... More

I am not a model train buff so I am not able to list pros and cons as in some other reviews. I really enjoyed the exhibit. I thought it was well worth a couple of hours of my time and the admission money. It is getting a little worn on the edges but that did not affect my enjoyment... More

I brought my boys to see this place. I heard it was must see. It was very interesting. It is very clear the passion the owner has for his hobby. Some of the added scenes that call out past tragedy (a kid destroyed track, so there is a passive aggressive note left that this was how it was left) and... More

This place was very exciting for my four-year-old who absolutely LOVES trains. For the two of us, including the 5-7 minute train ride at the end, it cost about $30. I would recommend visiting the place at least once. Not so well kept though.

We've been here several times and recently took our 8 year old granddaughter. In her words..."This place is awesome". It really is amazing. It takes one to one and a half hours to walk through the entire display. You can't rush because there's so much detail to the layout. This is a 50,000 square foot building, 3 stories high, and... Having seen many model railway layouts I was not prepared for this. The story of its evolution is fascinating and the results are incredible. The layout fills a HUGE building, built specifically for the layout, and is 3 stories high, with the layout filing the space, even vertically. My only regret was that I didn't have more time and would... More

I am 11 and i though the museum was very cool and the models looked as if they were real, I really enjoyed seeing all the train set ups in the model.

perhaps the best attraction I've ever been to. went with my kids and my parents and we all enjoyed so much! (even though the external train was not working) the engineering, but more than that - the imagination - put into this place, made we want to turn miniature myself and tour the mountains, grandma's house and others. Or at... More

I thought that this was going to be just another model train exhibit. Instead, I found an unbelieveable model train display. Over 40,000 feet of track, 400 tunnels, and 115 trains, all on multiple floors. We took the grandkids and spent 2 hours there. If I was alone, I probably would have spent at least 3 hours. If you are... More
