We went on a weekday morning and had a small group of about ten people so we had no problem seeing the wolves. The talk was informative and it was really eerie listening to the wolves howl. We also got to see and learn about bobcats and foxes. The only thing I would say about the tour is that it... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Camp Taylor and sadly due to our packed schedule of lake swimming and trail hiking we didn't get to make it to any of the "wolf talks" meaning I didn't get to see the entire preserve. One evening around 6 pm we did hike up there though and stood on the outside fence and... More

This was such a great informative experience for adults and children. 90 minute tour of their preserve and experiencing these great animals. The owners (a couple) really know their stuff and it's obvious the animals love them and their environment. Don't miss this one in a life time experience, you can't find at the average zoo.

My grandson and I were on the 10:30 tour. It was very interesting and you really do get to see the wolves up close and listen to them howl! The only negatives were that it was too long for the kids who got restless and it was very crowded which made it a little hard to enjoy.

Came here during the summer with a group of 4. It was very easy to drive here. There is one section with a steep incline and I hope there's another way to get here during winter because I definitely want to come back. The preserve is actually on the same land as the campground/park. Because of that, part of your... More

Was an interesting tour of wolves and bobcats! These animals are well taken care of and reside in this beautiful place full of nature unlike zoos... There was a shuttle that took us all the way to the entrance of their habitat from the parking lot/gift-shop we ended up walking it down. Walking it up is possible as well however... More

The tour guides were friendly and informative and truely loved their wolves, foxes and bobcats. The wolves came up to the fence and posed for photos. Jim told us a little about each wolf and he introduced him or her and talked all about wolf behavior in general. At the end of the talk, he and his wife asked the... More

Seeing first hand a couple of wonderful folks concerned about the wolves and other wildlife is a confirmation, to me, that people still care. These animals are not just an attraction, they are a lesson in the need to preserve.

Our family loves wolves so this seemed like a great day trip idea. It was an easy drive there. The hike to the preserve is beautiful, the campgrounds that the preserve is on is very pretty. There is a nice trail and a pretty lake. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of people there for... More
