I've been to other "touch" museums for kids. This surpasses all the ones I've been to because there was just so many activities!

My wife really wanted to visit this place and built it up enough that we jumped into our van and whisked our 1-year old to this “museum”. Boy, were we disappointed!!! First, the location of the museum is unfortunate – an industrial park setting, next to JDR Shoe Warehouse and Avalon Flooring. The small parking lot in front made me... More

Our kids still remember this play place! You can bring your own lunch! Educational at its best! A separated room also for littler ones:) an adventure to get the minds going! They can play grown up! Interact with life situations! Make Pretend they are news broadcasters News reporters! Or go on stage! Birthday parties here are a blast! A memory... More

This museum fits the bill for small kids. I've been here several times with a variety of ages of kids. It's small, clean and engaging. The staff are very devoted. The scheduled story times and activities are very well planned and delivered. Some of my friend hate this museum saying it's too plain or too limiting. My kids have enjoyed... More

We took our 4 year old granddaughter here on the spur of the moment as a special activity for her to off-set lots of adult events during a surprise visit. She had no trouble engaging in hands-on exhibits/activities, especially liked being nearly encase in a large soap bubble that she could burst with her finger. Butterfly garden was a nice... More

My child loves coming here. Staff is wishy washy on service depending on the day. Great things for kids to do, especially in the winter.

The Garden State Discovery Museum is a fun place for the kids. But this place is very dated! It's not very clean at all. If you take your kids make sure you have hand sanitizer on you until they can really use soap and water.

I went here when I was a youngster. I revisted here now a grown up with a friend who has a small son. I tagged along for the day and quickly was reminded how awsome this place is! The kids can venture around in many differnent areas and everyone always seems to love this place! I cannot beilive some of... More

It's a good place for kids. You can hop for 2 to 3 hours the entire museum. Kids will love almost every center and displays. We expected a lot, but got a feeling that we finished seeing the entire museum too soon. No disappointment.
