We just had a really fun day here. It offers so much for children to do. From bubble experiments, to pretend diner/California Pizza Kitchen, and Healing babies at a Cooper Hospital look alike. There are so many more sections too. Everything was very clean. Go early because it does get crowded with field trips/ summer camp. You can also get... More

This is a fantastic place to take young children for a wonderful day trip! Whether you go for an hour, or for the entire day, the kids are completely entertained. It is a smaller version of The Please Touch museum in Philly. There is a room for children 4 and under that parents can sit and relax while the kids... More

My mother and I brought my nephew to the museum today and were pleasantly surprised! We had a Groupon which covered two entrance fees and I paid $12.75. It was worth it. The exhibitions were excellent, many sponsored by local businesses, sports teams, news channels, hospitals, etc. The exhibitions are hands on and educational. The museum is well cared for,... More

We have had the membership to Garden state discovery museum for a couple of years. We usually use it during the winters or on weekdays during the summer. Weekends get very crowded and end up having long wait times to enjoy the various exhibits. Its a good value to take kids over a few times and if you use the... More

Went with my 2 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter. There are different areas to enjoy for learning and fun for both ages. The kids and I enjoyed the snack bar for lunch.

This place just happened to be located 1 mile from our hotel so we thought we would give it a shot for their discounted rate after 5pm. There is plenty of time for a kid to make their way through all the exhibits as the close at 8:30 and well worth the $16.05 it cost for myself, wife and daughter.... More

Decided to do an afternoon at the Museum based on suggestions from the hotel staff. It cost around $70 for a family of 5 to get in (adults have to pay) and I thought it seemed like a waste of money. Its in a warehouse shared with a shoe store. Its basically a big open warehouse with partitions between each... More

This is worth a half a day for younger kids and longer for older kids. We took an 18 month old and a 3 year old on the 1st day of July. It was too hot and muggy to do much outside. My younger niece was entertained following us around from room to room. My older niece loved leading us... More
