I have been to zoos all over the world, and this zoo rates as one of the most enjoyable zoo experiences you could ever have. Beautiful park setting, great layout with shaded walks, great host of animals. Very kid and family-oriented, as well as a great date choice. Great happy staff and even the animals seem to really like it... More

Stopped at the Cape May zoo while on vacation. Tons of parking(free). Zoo was a good size (also free) . Lots of animals. All seem in great condition and most were out on display. Few displays closed for renovation but that's also good thing. Nice size snack bar. Giraffes were the hit of our trip. Overall great trip. Definitely a... More

I visited the Cape May Zoo on an afternoon trip from Wildwood. It is just off of Route 9 and well signed. I would recommend going up Route 9 as there was construction and exit changes on the Garden State Parkway on that stretch and it is a bit confusing for out of state drivers. There was no charge to... very nice zoo, super clean and well laid out. hard to believe its free. We went on a thursday during peak summer season and parking was a nightmare of sorts, but staff quickly appeared and opened extra, "bus only" lots and let us park. it was very busy, yet fairly organized. all animals are well cared for as well as... Totally amazing zoo. So many animals to see! It's like walking through a rainforest! Both the animals & grounds are impeccably kept. How do they do it on donations is beside me. This zoo is rated the 13th best in the world! So, if you're in the area, take a look-see. It's worth the trip!!!!!!

Great little zoo! Was perfect for a cloudy day - we spent the morning here and that is all we needed. Perfect for little kids - there is not too much walking and can see all the animals in a few hours. Also has a carousel and train ride.

On our Wildwood getaway we decided to stop here for the day. Nice zoo! Plenty of animals and exhibits to see. Extremely crowded however, probably because it's the last week before school is back in session. The zoo is free, but donations are recommended and should be given. Easy to get to as well. Overall, we had a nice visit.

Our family with 3 older teens really enjoyed the cape may zoo. Exhibits were laid out nicely letting you get close to the animals. The diversity walk area in the shade as well as other shade structures were much appreciated and helped us enjoy our visit on a hot day. Plan to spend at least 2 or 3 hours here.... More

Believe it or not, this zoo is rated of the best in the US...right here in Cape May County! They have a great array if animals...its a great way to spend 2-3 hours. Plus, its shady for people (like me) that don't like the sun!

Free admission with donation s gladly accepted. We had a great day with lunch and treats sold on site and water and drinks sold throughout the zoo. We all had a wonderful time and there were lots of educational material everywhere around and educational separate building on the grounds as well.
