We went to see Cape May Zoo. It is an awesome place. It is the cleanest zoo I have ever been to. The zoo had lots of great exhibits! I would say in contrast to Philadelphia zoo, Cape May didn't have as many animals, but had a much better layout. It was very easy to see all the animals. The... More

We got there early and it wasn't too busy yet. The zoo is free; and they just ask for donations. They have a decent, small variety of animals; even giraffe's and lions. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. They have picnic tables if you want to bring lunch along.

This is a free admission zoo and you can donate any amount you like. We were very surprised to see so many species there and how big the zoo was. Highly recommend for families with young kids. A must!

such a great place to spend a cloudy afternoon or a sunny one when you just want a break. So many different animals. It does not feel like a small county zoo!

This is well worth contributing to the "donation" bucket. We have watched this park and zoo blossom over the years. It's pretty amazing to see the number of species the zoo has taken into their responsibility. This is enjoyable for all ages. And don't forget to pack a picnic lunch as there are tables throughout the park, a large playground,... More

Hard to lose when there is no admission charge. Though they do solicit donations. There are a variety of animals (reptiles, birds--very noisy ones, monkeys, large cats, giraffe, even white deer, among others). It was a very nice walk and some informative plaques, including some stories about theirs (health issues and injuries and how they were dealt with). I am... More

This was my family's 2nd time to the Cape May Zoo and we loved it just as much as the first! It's not a huge zoo, but it does have lots of animals. The zoo is easy to navigate (and maps are available) and generally takes about 1-2 hours to get through the entire zoo, depending on how much info... More

This lively zoo has something for everybody. It is free, although a donation is requested. It's perfect for a morning visit before you head to the beach. The variety of animals is extensive, from giraffes to reptiles to big cats to tortoises.

I've been on safari in South Africa and, honestly, the Cape May zoo comes pretty darn close, except you're viewing the animals in their natural habitat without the excitement of seeking out the animals via jeep. And it's FREE - donations only. It does get crowded, but just take your time and enjoy. I was actually amazed at the animals... More
