This past September, we visited the Cape May County Zoo for the first time. We have been vacationing in Cape May for the last 15 years, but we had never heard of the zoo until this trip. My husband, two children (ages 4 years and 18 months), and I visited on a chilly, overcast day, and we were not disappointed.... More

Living next door to the Zoo this is great activity for my family. The children love the animals, feeding the goats and the play park. Highly recommend!!

At age 71, I thought I had outgrown Zoos, but this one really appeals to me. It's unpretentious, brings you very close to the animals on elevated wooden walkways, & provides great info on the animals, & the fauna of the local area. It's free! Thank you taxpayers of Cape May & generous private donors. Judging from their reactions, children... More

This was a wonderful little zoo to wander around for a couple hours. They were working on improving some of the habitats, and I was told that they continually improve the zoo. I've passed it many times, so we finally decided to stop. There is no fee - but a donation is expected.

Clean, well kept, lots of different animals. Places to eat, a park for the kids. Lots of things to see. Great place to spend a couple hour and all they ask is for a donation.

We spent an afternoon at the Cape May County Zoo. Having just returned recently from Tanzania, we wanted to see the baby giraffe. We were greatly disappointed that no giraffes were out in their enclosure (and this is the only reason I didn't give it five stars.) Zoos normally make me sad, but most of the animals looked happy and... More

This zoo is outstanding. It is a pleasure to walk through, the facility is well thought out, is clean and the animals look to be well cared for. How this place does what it does just operating on donations (there is no charge for admission or parking) is beyond me but it is an extremely nice operation and a pleasant... More

Third time at Cape May Zoo, gets better each time. It is a great value, just give a donation. Especially liked the giraffes and Bengal tiger. The park is immaculate. Great fun!

This zoo and park is awesome, you can tell that animals are well taken care of and there is more open space for them rather than the caged styles that most zoos have. There is a wide selection of animals and we just love the set up of the place, it has the look of a safari and makes it... More

We vacation regularly in Cape May and have visited the zoo several times. Our best visit was early last November on a cool, overcast day. The animals were very active and the crowd was surprisingly robust but not in the least difficult. An earlier reviewer noted the pacing, circling snow leopard and I have to say that was exactly our... More
