I was not expecting a free zoo to be so nice. I wish we would have found this place earlier. We went on a warm day so a few animals were inside cooling off but my family really enjoyed it. A nice variety of animals and plenty of shade. Next time we'll pack a picnic and spend more time.

I went here when I go down to the fireman's convention down in Wildwood. This place attracted me away from the water and in to the wild!

The zoo is nice considering it is a free zoo. You give what you want at the entrance of the park. There is a large playground for the kids just outside the zoo gates. Multiple cages where under renovations and with the heat, most large animals where hiding in the shadows. We did get a good look at the lions,... More

You would think that a FREE zoo in the sticks would be a gimmick but noooo! I have been to this zoo when it was a joke but that was many years ago. Now this is a world class zoo and beautiful. It is laid out nicely and have wooden walkways to see the wide array of animals. They have... More

Are you kidding me? My 16 year old daughter and her friend were bored one day so we took them here. It was free with donation requested. I thought it was probably a petting zoo so I threw 20 bucks in the bucket and went to park. We were all blown away. What a fantastic well maintained zoo! Tigers, Lions,... More

Just love taking a walk around the Zoo! It has a nice easy set up so you don't miss anything. It is not time consuming and there is a pretty big playground~the kids love it! In fact, I "MAKE" them see the animals first, or they want to stay and play! We live local and go a few times a... More

Great zoo! A lot of animals to see and enjoy. Birds of prey, big cats, small cats, monkeys, Giraffes. During the heat of summer it can be difficult to see the big cats because they stay in the shade of their structures.. That can be a bummer. but most of the zoo is shaded by lots of big trees and... If you are visiting Cape May County, this is the next best thing to the beaches. The zoo is free and clean, the staff is friendly and the animals are plentiful and varied. You can get up close to many. I have taken my kids here both when tolders and as young teenagers, and they enjoyed it each time. Plus,... More

The zoo is soo much fun for the little kids! They always have a great time walking around and seeing the animals. The zoo is just the right size to keep their attention.

Great zoo. We loved that there were lots of trees and plenty of shade. There are lots of new exhibits under construction. Can't wait to come back next year and see the new exhibits.
