This house is quite historic, the rooms are quite elegant and the guide is very informative. After touring the house the guide took us outback to the barn, What a shock!!! Right inside the barn door was a prism from a lighthouse. Moving back and right of the lighthouse prism you get an 0ptical surprise, I was speechless!

I think you might be writing about the County Historical Museum. They have the original Fresnel lens from the Cape May Lighthouse in their barn. The lighthouse is mechanized and has a powerful electric lamp. You'll have to come visit us too. More

This house has fascinating architecture. The woman who gave the tour was extremely knowledgeable about the time period and customs of the day. She had a real passion for her subject and I truly enjoyed her lecture. The house is quite large and each room is meticulously maintained in it s orginal (or close to original state). They have evening... More

Have seen two mystery performances here. Fun to walk around this old estate and try to solve the mystery. Would highly recommend it as part of your trip to Cape May.

We always include the estate tour with the MAC trolley tour each time we are in Cape May. We learn something new on each visit. It's good to see this being maintained for future generations. It has stairs and may be difficult for physically handicapped. There is parking.

The house tour is an outstanding display of the Victorian era. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house and family. As an added bonus, take advantage of the afternoon tea in the carriage house after a tour.

We visited the Physick Estate as part of the MAC bus tour that departs from the end of the Washington St. Mall several times daily. Very knowledgable guide, Ginger took us back to the days when the home was inhabited. She described, in great detail, the details of a dinner party in this wealthy person's mansion. The staff and guides really love this home. It was well worth the time and fee.
