We did the combination trolley bus ticket which included a guided tour of the estate. A great example of Victorian American life. The tour guide was really interesting had lots of facts on the family and the articles on the house. Lots of stuff in the house have been collected but belonged to the family, well worth a visit

Stunning property, rare to find such a well maintained Victorian estate with a great tour. It is a fun activity for all.

The murder mystery show was very different and entertaining. We were taken thru different rooms in the estate and got to ask the actors questions to figure out who the murderer was. Unique!

Took the nuts and bolts tour and was disappointed. It's something to do on a rainy day and the setting was lovely.

I'd been wanting to visit the Emlen Physick house for years and finally did it with my daughter!! It was better than I expected! Lots of interesting architectural details about the house, the architect, Furness, (...and his future students including Frank Lloyd Wright!). Our tour guide was excellent and had many fun stories of life during that time period. Who... More

...especially the glassblowing demonstrations! If you love mansion tours, you'll love this. If not, then skip it. But their events are worth attending.

Took the tour of the estate and was quite impressed with the ambiance and eclectic furnishings throughout the home. Also, attended their Crab & Beer Fest on their grounds. Very organized and worth the trip. Met some great people to talk to during the event.Missed the trolley back to our hotel since we stayed long but hitched a ride with... More

This old estate gives you the glamour and hay day of Cape May. An excellent reflection of Victorian life and style a local history of the prominent family of the time. The grounds are all manicured liking you are stepping back in time.

We did the ghost tour with a paranormal group. The tour started out with everyone seated in a room with dining tables. The paranormal group shared recordings of voices they recorded in this house. They also showed the equipment they use when searching for spirits. We split into groups of 6 and each group had the equipment (5 pieces) to... More

Beautiful home, nicely restored, wonderful grounds. They seem to have something special going on, most weekends. Nice little gift shop and a Tea room that used to be the horse stable. Always enjoy visiting, even if just to walk around. Fee is for tour only. They have a wonderful lunch in the tea room or outside on the porch.
