Captain Ed and Ginny were both entertaining and fun to learn from. We were able to spot a few great blue herons, egrets, red tailed hawks and some other bird I forget the name of. Can't wait to come back next year.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed The Skimmer - Salt Marsh Safari. The guides were Cape May natives who were extremely knowledgeable and clearly loved the marshes and the wildlife found there. Plenty of time was taken to get close to a wide variety of birds. At one point, a guide pulled aboard a net full of seaweed and mud... More

I would highly recommend this trip for both young and old alike. Photo opportunities were excellent as the guides made sure all creatures spotted were put in the best possible orientation for photo opportunities. The trip was also ECO educational and of interest both for children and adults. I plan on taking another marsh cruise in the Spring in search... More

Photography club rental resulted in seeing quite a nice assortment of birds and turtles. The team got us as close as possible to the action. They shared information about the various species we saw. They also conducted an ecology orientation on the creatures in the marsh that points out the diversity of system. I thoroughly enjoyed the two hour trip... More

This two-hour tour of the salt marshes was the highlight of our trip to the Cape May area. The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable concerning the birds, wildlife and eco-systems of the area and presented information in a very engaging way. I felt that they put a lot of effort in ensuring that we had a good experience. The guides clearly... More

A very educational boat trip. Great fun. Well run. Guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The scenery is so beautiful. Saw many species of shore birds. Price is right and worth every penny. Not for small children. Use bathrooms before boarding. One on boat is primitive. They provide binoculars, which are a must. You stay in the marsh and intercostal,... More

Touring the salt marshes on the Skimmer was a major highlight during my visit to Cape May. Such knowledgeable, friendly, informative guides made it effortlessly educational. There were plenty of binoculars for everyone and lots of birds to check out even at mid-day. Imagine it would be spectacular at dawn and dusk. I would definitely do this again and would... More

Love this tour and the wildlife...eagles, ospreys and shorebirds! Bring the camera! They are great tour guides and the area is beautiful. I try to do this trip at least once a year because I live so far away. Always a treat.

There are many types of gulls so calling them the general term of sea gulls is inaccurate, who knew? Captain Ginny and Ed were not only really interesting, and personable they were informative as well. Which, for me, made the trip all the more memorable. Sure, there were a fair amount of families with young kids on the skimmer, but... More
