Description: Once upon a time, twenty-something Ryan Krill earned a six-figure salary...
Once upon a time, twenty-something Ryan Krill earned a six-figure salary working in finance and real estate development in Manhattan, while his college roommate, Chris Henke, designed satellites. During a summer weekend at the Jersey shore, they brewed a batch of beer with Ryan’s dad that wasn’t half bad. “Should we open a brewery?” Ryan asked, only half-serious. But, by the following year, the three guys had secured a space at Cape May Airport where they concocted a makeshift brew system and honed their beer-making skills. In 2011, they started with one client. Today, there are over 300 accounts in Jersey and Pennsylvania proudly serving the guys’ award-winning recipes. And CMBC’s fearless leaders have never looked back.

Pros: Great atmosphere, fun to hang out, great outdoor beer garden, can bring your own food, nice souvenir glasses, delicious root beer Cons: Not a huge fan of their beer, the bartenders aren't very pleasant, gets very crowded and have to wait awhile to be served, $10 for 4-4oz samples (hit or miss whether you actually get 4oz though)

Visited on a Thursday at 4 pm, yes it's summer, but packed. Waited in line for beer way too long. Beers are ok, nothing a second trip is necessary for. They need a better way too reduce the wait for beers. I could just imagine the weekend. Try it once, then you decide. Happily drinking.

The beer was good, but not to take home. Its confusing getting samples, you get so 4 samples but you need to get tokens from them. We didn't receive tokens so we couldn't figure out their proses but they were nice enough to trust that we didn't receive the tokens - Great service, ok beer, and NJ brewery laws are... More

Looking for something to do when we arrived in Wildwood yesterday we had read about the Cape May Brewing Co. & thought this might be interesting to check out. A quick ride to the Cape May County airport, where the Brewary is located & we were ready for the tour. Stepping thru the door into the back room we were... More

I went here with my husband, sister, and her husband. We were excited to take a free tour of the brewery and get our 4 samples and CMBC glass for $10 each. We paid our money, got our glasses (which are cool and come in four different styles) and each got four chips we could use for 4 oz. samples... More

Any day is great for tasting, we went weekday with a picnic lunch to Cape May Brewing Co, it was jammed! Took the tour, purchased tasting glasses and spent a few hours trying many from 'ipa' to the 'bog' ! Fabulous time finding a favorite... see the pic for brews that day!

Enjoyed the tour, the tasting and the T-Shirt. I especially liked the Honey Porter and the Bog! Hung out for about an hour. Could have stayed longer but the kids were getting bored.

Been going for three years now. We purchase growlers and stay to sample which is a lot of fun if you can actually get someone to pour you one. They were woefully understaffed when we visited this year. One active person behind the bar with 20-25 people in line. Compounded by the fact that the one staff person needs to... More

We went here based on reviews when we were in the area on vacation and it was really great!! The beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized and extremely tasty!! The little bar area that they have created in the warehouse is full of charm and character that just lends to the atmosphere and supports the idea that they are serious about... More
