Four of us got a private tour of the back bay areas around Cape May searching for birds and anything else that might have come our way. Bob, our captain, was knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent birder. I would highly recommend them!

I had been on the Osprey once before, and this time I called in advance for us and another couple on a Thursday. It turned out that the regular 1:30 trip was full (Road Scholar group), so the captain created a special 10 am time for us because we couldn't come on a different day. Talk about accommodating! As it... More

My husband and I took the 5 o'clock trip this past Saturday. We both enjoyed it and he is not really interested in birds! I thought that we did well with our sightings and I got to see some new birds for me including a clapper rail, ruddy turnstones, and a whimbrel. Other birds included opreys, belted kingfishers, skimmers, several... More

This tour exceeded my expectations. Pleasant and knowledgeable captain and guides. Enjoyable for a casual birder.

My wife and I took the Monday morning tour, 10:00am to 1:00pm, and we had a great time. The boat was crowded but comfortable enough, with windows all around and a small open deck at the bow. The pilot took us into very shallow waters in the various salt marshes around the bay and past the very numerous marinas. The... More

I took the Sunday 2.5 hour trip sponsored by the official cape may birding observatory and had a great time. Both the captain and naturalist were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and were happy to answer any questions anyone had at any time. The boat itself was roomy and spacious with lots of windows from which to view wildlife. There was... More

I have lost count on how many times I have sailed on The Osprey with Captain Bob and Naturalist David Lord and also Vince Elia, since my first sailing in Oct. Of of 2011. My last sailing was a special excursion to Gull Island on August 23, 2014. This cruise was over 4 hours long and not only included birds,... More

This was really well done. Whether you're a bird watching fanatic or just looking for something to do, this is a lot fun. The guide Dave and the Captain Bob were very experienced and friendly. They provided binoculars which is very much appreciated. Why are you still reading this review, and not driving there!?!? GO!

This is a must tour for interested birders. There is much bird life to be seen on this tour, and both the boat captain and the naturalist made sure that we would see it all. Both were knowledgeable and patient. The binoculars that they provided were very high quality.
