Yay Groupon! We never would have even know about this otherwise. From my 72 year old mother to my 6 year old niece, we had a blast. And I will DEFINITELY be back. And this isn't just a trip for birders. Captain Bob was extremely knowledgable - about the area's history AND the birds. (and avoiding the green biting flies.... More

My girlfriend and I decided to go on the sunday morning cruise. She is very into birdwatching and I was along for the ride. The guides were so knowledgeable and friendly, that they kept my attention the entire time. I recommend this trip to trip to anyone. Even just for the beautiful boat ride, I would find it worth it.

We took the 10 am cruise on Sunday, 6/1 and had a wonderful time! The captain was able to take us into some of the difficult-to-reach areas because the water in the bay was quite high. Both the captain and his assistant (I can't remember their names but they were both a wealth of information) provided us with viewings of... More

This is a trip for everybody - keen bird watchers, casual bird watchers, or just those who enjoy a boat ride in beautiful surrpundings. Vince, the naturalist, was a mine of information. I learned more from him in two hours than from many years of self-tuition and reading books. He was enthusiastic as well as knowledgeable. Bob, the skipper, knew... More

Captain Bob was a great tour guide on the harbor ride, pointing out bird sightings and answering questions. I enjoyed the outing tremendously, a nice morning out! It's a good idea to phone first to confirm times , if there aren't enough people , the boat will not go out. I'm looking forward to returning in the spring for the... More

Became fan of Mr. Guide, his passion for birds was visible. Throughout the trip, he spotted birds and narrated about them. Binoculars on boat were welcome surprise, you need one for sure. Boat driver and guide both are avid bird watchers, may have watched more than a dozen kind of birds. Loved it.

captain Bob and naturalist Dave Lord are top notch at getting the birds for all to see. Besides piloting the Osprey Bob is always on the lookout for birds and knows where to find them. I've been out with him and his Dad so I see he's learned well. Dave has a very pleasant manner and very knowledgeable about birding... More

We took this trip on recommendation from local nature center. We were expecting bird viewing as well as a general nature cruise. The birds we saw were mostly birds seen on the beach and a turkey vulture, which I have seen in my back yard at home. Many of the birds were quite far off, even with binoculars. We did go... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our cruise. Sorry that you didn't enjoy it more. September is prime birding time in Cape May and many of our trips at this time do cater to the many birders that sail with us. I don't know which cruise you sailed on but birds seen on most of the trips of the... More

A great trip for birder and nature enthusiast alike, it gets you into areas you can only get to by boat. It is an opportunity to view the resident bird species as well as the migrant species that Cape May is famous for. The knowledgeable captain and crew provide history of the Cape May areas that you pass through and... More

For someone who gets a thrill out of birds this excursion was a success even though the timing wasn't great as many species had already migrated south. Staff directed our attention to numerous birds which we were able to observe with binoculars they provided. If you like to keep track of new sightings better bring a good memory! You will... More
