Birding By Boat from Cape May. We run eco-tours of Cape May Harbor and the coastal salt marsh with up close views of local wildlife. We see many Osprey, migrating shorebirds, herons and egrets, nesting colonies of gulls and terns and many other species as we cruise through the tranquil back bays. Evening trips have the added beauty of sunset along with a local heron rookery. Come join us on one of these special trips.

The captain forgot to offer us binoculars until about halfway through. We saw a lot of osprey in their nests, with their babies, which was cool. We saw a few other interesting things but in general we just took a boat ride with a few bird facts. I wished the captain would have talked more, given us more information. Half... More

My friends and I took the 1:30pm - 3:30pm, $35. tour of the salt marsh. It was during MYGRATION so they did not have their 10:00AM $20. Senior rate tour. It was a nice day and the boat moved at a nice slow speed going out into the marsh. The Captain and his mate were very personable and knowledgeable about... More

What a great trip.....as always. We saw many active Eagles nests. And a number of Osprey. The Captain and crew are always informative and pleasant.

Sure I've been on the OSPREY a few times and I am a birder but honestly even if you didn't lift your binoculars this would be an enjoyable ride in the back bay areas. I've gotten close up to many varieties of birds on these trips and half of the fun is just boating through the scenery. The Captain and... More

Four of us got a private tour of the back bay areas around Cape May searching for birds and anything else that might have come our way. Bob, our captain, was knowledgeable, friendly and an excellent birder. I would highly recommend them!

I had been on the Osprey once before, and this time I called in advance for us and another couple on a Thursday. It turned out that the regular 1:30 trip was full (Road Scholar group), so the captain created a special 10 am time for us because we couldn't come on a different day. Talk about accommodating! As it... More

My husband and I took the 5 o'clock trip this past Saturday. We both enjoyed it and he is not really interested in birds! I thought that we did well with our sightings and I got to see some new birds for me including a clapper rail, ruddy turnstones, and a whimbrel. Other birds included opreys, belted kingfishers, skimmers, several... More

This tour exceeded my expectations. Pleasant and knowledgeable captain and guides. Enjoyable for a casual birder.
