While this play is closing (and they got a standing ovation), this is great theatre company. Everytime we come to the Cape we attend the play they are offering and it is always wonderful. Recommended.

Since we live nearby, we attend almost all the productions staged by ELTC. We have never been disappointed. As history/literature buffs, we particularly enjoy the fact that plays are usually "gems from the past"; either American plays which were big hits in their day, but were all but forgotten, or classic tales, adapted by .Artistic Director, Gayle Stahlhuth. The current... More

We had the pleasure of seeing Mr . Lincoln at the East Lynne Theater last night. Gail Stahlhuth's production is art , history, and amazingly relevant to NOW. Her direction is subtle yet clear Tom Byrne is perfect as the President. His portrayal so simply convincing; the standing ovation was for both Abe Lincoln AND Tom Byrne. What a treat... More

I am a supporting member of the NJ Arts known as a Culture Vulture and I happened to be checking my emails while down in Cape May and I saw a 2-1 ticket offer for the show Mr. Lincoln. It was such a wonderful performance my 3 member party and the people we sat with all enjoyed the show. The... More

We enjoyed an excellent performance. Setting is unique and comfy. Highly recommend it. Close to most hotels with many nearby places to eat. The 8 30 pm start time was a nice feature.

I have experienced many standing ovations - many - but only a handful of TRUE, spontaneous standing ovations. You all know the difference I'm talking about. Well, last night at the close of East Lynne Theater Company's MR. LINCOLN was one of those rare standing ovations in which an entire audience (a full house) sprung to their feet at once... More

We took part in the Sherlock Holmes weekend and have learned through the years that the Holmes radio play is the cherry on the sundae! The Mystery of the Copper Beaches was wonderful. It was so much fun to watch the sound man create the sound effects. He keeps a deadpan look the whole time! The actors give it their... More

When visiting Cape May ELTC’s shows are a must see. I feel in love with the production of Zorro this season and I already have my tickets for Christmas in Wisconsin.

Excellent world premier of James Rana's ZORRO! Very exciting! Made me feel like I wanted to get up on stage and join the adventure! East Lynne Theater Co. never fails to satisfy everyone from the seasoned theater goer to the first-time theater patron! Much of the theater in New York and Philadelphia should be so good! East Lynne certainly sets... More
