This group of actors do an excellent job, this was the second play for us this year. Parking is free, the washington square mall is close for food and the play and acting were great. Very inexpensive.

East Lynne Theater Company is a hidden gem. Everyone who visits Cape May should spend an evening in this quaint theater. The actors give their all. The plays give a look into Victorian times.

I took my grandchildren, ages 10 & 6, to see Zorro the other night. The 10 year old, a boy, really wasn't happy about going. He said it "had romance, ugh!" Once the play started, he was really enjoying it. He got the funny parts and particularly like the sword fights, of course. He also liked that one of the... More

I went to see THE FIRST FIFTY YEARS last night at East Lynne Theater Company. The two-person show tells the story of the ups and down of a 50-year marriage in seven very powerful and well directed scenes. Beckley Andrews and Samuel Douglas Clark's performances were "spot on" in flawlessly portraying the wide spectrum of dynamics and emotions that exist... More

We see a lot of shows in NYC so we have a lot to compare it to, but it was performed nicely by two outstanding actors plus about 7 scenery changes which was done in front of us - I enjoyed that too, I would go to see another show by this East Lynne Theatre Company.

The plays are always so interesting and varied. We love the Sherlock Holmes radio plays, but we have never had a clinker! The group at East Lynn seem to go out of their way to find familiar and new plays. The minute the lights go down you are in another world. I would highly recommend this little gem!

The house museum was expansive. Well worth the cost of touring. Staff knowledgeable and delightful. Absolutely beautiful.

We lucked into a fine evening of theatre on a one night trip to Cape May November 1. Holmes and Carter Mysteries was a presentation of 2 radio shows from the 1940's, with the actors reading their parts and providing sound effects. Great fun, and very well done! All of the cast were great, and the venue is fine too.... More
