Two actors capture a glimpse into the final year of Francis Biddle's life, in a thought-provoking work based on the playwright's own experience. Only the playwright knows how accurate a portrait she has painted of this intriguing man, and his final secretary, but it held our attention, and makes me curious to know more about Mr. Biddle and his era.

What a beautiful theater and easy walking distance from all. We saw "Trying" which had a remarkable and historical story to tell and the remarkable and accomplished cast did it justice. Bravo!!

Was a spur of the moment decision that was totally worth it. The show was very entertaining and funny. We are still talking about it a day later.

We saw "Dead Man's Cellphone" and it was very entertaining. This theatre is about a block from the "five and ten" store (Washington St. Mall) It is quite small, so you are very close to the actors, which is wonderful. We went to a 3 pm show and then had time to walk the streets. The first two rows are... More

Once a year we go to Cape May and a To Do that is always on our list is the Cape May Stage theater production. Every year is different and regardless if it is a comedy or drama, we greatly enjoy it! Actors are very talented! The little church made into a theater is quite comfortable. If you enjoy good... More

We saw TALLY'S FOLLY at the Cape May Stage about 10 years ago. The show was great, but we were pretty uncomfortable in the folding chairs. We were so happy to see that the theater has installed upholstered seating in the intervening years. We had perfectly comfortable seats in the air conditioned auditorium, and the show was still great! THE... More

I often go to a show here when I'm on vacation in this beautiful town. Of course I might like one particular production more than another however they are always top notch. The theater is quaint, always a good seat and the people who volunteer their time really care. I always look forward to seeing a production here.

The other evening we had the good fortune of seeing " The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in The Universe" and thoroughly LOVED it. Tricia Alexander was absolutely wonderful in her role as the sole actor ( 9 parts) as was the director Roy Steinberg. In all of the years we have been coming to Cape May we have... More

This one-woman show was thoroughly enjoyed by my girlfriend and I. Tricia Alexandro was excellent, portraying multiple characters from multiple backgrounds, including the narrator, a homeless woman named Trudy. I cannot recommend this show enough. Ms. Alexandro received a well-deserved standing ovation when the show was done. If you are in or around Cape May, don't miss it.
