We are a horse-drawn carriage company. We provide guided tours through Historic district of Cape May.We would like to fully explain why we do not accept credit cards. We are located at the corner of Ocean and Washington St. we have a small unprotected mobile table that has no power,no phone and no protection from the weather. We cannot get a phone jack which is needed to take credit cards because we do not have a store front.Cape May is an island with terrible satellite and cell reception therefore the mobile credit card devices also do not help us.There are other very expensive mobile devices that are weather sensitive and do to the fact that we have no protection from the elements ,that is not an option either. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to some .There is an ATM located directly behind where we are parked. We hope that you enjoy the horse and carriages and the joy, and beauty they bring to the hundreds of people who ride each year.

We have taken the carriage ride twice. Both times the driver knew the history well. The difference was who was in the carriage with us. The other couple ask the driver a question that did not have anything to do with Cape May but it started a running conversation that would not end. The driver tried her best but they... More

I'm sorry that your ride was ruined but I don't understand how it happened.ALL the rides are private now and have been for three years. The only reason you would be with strangers would be if you had split the fee with people you didn't know. The driver would be under the assumption that you were friends, and probably hoped you jumped... We loved the bird watching. It was great. We saw so many varieties of water fowl and the hawks were migrating. It was nice to have people there who were heads of bird clubs and authors who had written bird guides. They were vocal in letting you know the species you were viewing. It was a great family adventure.

Well it should not be "hit or miss" with your driver. If this happens to you, please come back to the booker or the assistant and tell us what happened.Part of a drivers training is focused on making our passengers enthralled for a half hour. Some of our drivers are more animated than others but all should keep you entertained. Remember they are... More

My girlfriends and I took a ride. It was in October so we opted for a "ghost" tour. We caught the horse carraige by the Washington Mall. Our driver was friendly and told us the glost stories of Capr May. It was very pleasant. We did it at night but they have t=regular rides during the day.

My grandkids and I have made this an annual tradition. Carriages are well maintained and beautifully decorated, especially around the holidays. Carriage drivers are very knowledgeable about Cape May history and folklore. Would recommend a night time tour to add to the atmosphere.

Take a trip around the Cape May historic district and view the Christmas house lights for the comfort of the horse drawn carriage. It's a slow leisurely way to view them and is much better than the trolley ride, mostly because all the hot air inside the trolley just fogs up the windows.

Oh my stars you made me laugh with the foggy trolley windows.!!!!Sometimes they go by and I feel for those poor folks, they may be warm but what a price to pay.We are out in the fresh air with very warm blankets to wrap up in.Thank you for your kind review,we appreciate it this time of year.It is a happy time... When we visit a city, we always like to get the lay of the land by horse and carriage, bus or train. We had a wonderful drive with Anna and Diesel (the horse). A little expensive for a thiry-minute ride, but well worth it!

Our tour guide turned out to be the baker at the hotel where we stayed! She was great - very friendly, not to mention entertaining. The carriage tour gives you a relaxing view of some beautiful Cape May architecture, along with little known history as well. "Walk on, Taco!"
