Owner description: We are a horse-drawn carriage company.We provide guided tours through Historic district of Cape May.We would like to fully explain why we do not... more » Owner description: We are a horse-drawn carriage company.We provide guided tours through Historic district of Cape May.We would like to fully explain why we do not accept credit cards.We are located at the corner of Ocean and Washington St. we have a small unprotected mobile table that has no power,no phone and no protection from the weather.We cannot get a phone jack which is needed to take credit cards because we do not have a store front.Cape May is an island with terrible satellite and cell reception therefore the mobile credit card devices also do not help us.There are other very expensive mobile devices that are weather sensitive and do to the fact that we have no protection from the elements ,that is not an option either.We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to some .There is an ATM located directly behind where we are parked.We hope that you enjoy the horse and carriages and the joy, and beauty they bring to the hundreds of people who ride each year.

“Very Romantic!”

Bob, the driver, was very nice and very knowledgeable about Cape May, and our horse, "Ranger". After the carriage ride, they took pictures for us.

“Dot is a True Historian”

Nice, long, informative ride with Dot as our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable and her horse listens very well. Worth the money. Make sure you pet Wiener, their mascot doggy. She is as sweet as the horses are tame.

Thank you so much.Dot and the other drivers do know much of the history of Cape May.They add interesting and entertaining bits but they do know the past. “A lot of fun”

Proposed to my wife 13 years ago on a carriage ride. If you have something special in mind the driver is more than willing to help you out! I know that the horses are bred for this kind of work but in the heat and long days they need more of a break than what they get.

The ride around Cape May on the carriage was lovely! Our horse Tootsie was the cutest! “fun ride”

Took my wife to cape may for her 50 birthday and the highlight was the carriage ride at night the christmas light were great and the driver very knowledgeable. A must do well worth the money.

“A Delightful Ride”

How better to cap off New Year's Eve in Victorian Cape May than with a carriage ride? Tucked under warm cozy blankets, we clip-clopped around the historic district to view the Victorian homes decorated for the holidays and learned about their history. It was a wonderful experience.

“Horses well cared for”

The tours is informative and fun. And you don't have to feel sorry for the horses like in NYC. The horses live on farm and only work if the choose to that day!
