Our first visit to Turdo was in May 2011, alone. Since then we have been back 3 times with different friends and family members. We planned a private tasting to celebrate 35th wedding anniversaries in September and it was fabulous, a great way to celebrate a special occasion. Since we pre-bought the wines we had exactly what we wanted (Nero... More

Turdo Vineyards doesn't have Sangria Sundays or Merlot Mondays or any of the other false attractors wineries resort to when it comes to bringing in customers. They don't need gimmicks. Their wine is lovely (the Sauvignon Blanc is my favorite white wine bar none), the service is knowledgeable and friendly, and the setting is quiet and pretty. Be forewarned: they... More

This family-owned winery gave me an entirely new appreciation for the quality of New Jersey wine. I'll be honest -- I'm not a fan of sweet wines -- which is what I always associate with the area. Turdo's quality was exceptional and I would rank it as some of the best wine I have ever tasted. Our wine tasting experience... More

What a great little day trip while in cape may. Barbara was a pleasure to talk to as she guided me through a red tasting. Nice tasting and a glass to boot for only $5. What more could you ask for. Bought a Cabernet. Could sit all afternoon and enjoy sitting in the vineyard. More

We had an amazing time at Turdo Vineyards & Winery. They were very friendly, full of information. They made you feel welcome. We could see the Vineyards from the building that had the tasting. They took the time to explain the entire process. They told us their history which was an interesting story. Excellent way to spend an hour or... More

My husband and I go wine tasting every year for our anniversary and choose a new bottle to save for next years celebration. We were fortunate enough to stop at Turdo and what a great experience it was! We chose TWO bottles, and wonder if they will both make it until next year. We were greeted by the owners son... More

The vineyard location was perfect; the visit only took a couple of hours. It was a nice trip that I would go on again; it was relaxing and fun to learn about the wines. I would dress comfortably and just go and enjoy. You will want to buy some delicious wine once you are done! More

Sara is a great host and very knowledgeable about her wines. Be sure to taste Persara -a great blend. All Turdo wines are well made and nicely balanced - great with food. We have visited several wineries; this one was one of the best. We are looking forward to our next visit to taste the 2010's currently in barrel. Also... More

Our visit to Turdo was delightful and the wines were exceptionally good. We were welcomed by a friendly, knowledgeable young woman and spent a pleasant time chatting, learning and sampling the wines. We purchased several bottles to take to our BYOB dinners at restaurants in Cape May. We're just sorry that NJ wineries cannot ship out of state! More
