We rented a kayak, no tour guide and the service was excellent. They helped us with getting the kayak out and selecting the proper gear and a few tips too. The staff was very friendly. We saw a tour guide with his group out on the water and he bothered to ask us if we were doing ok, which we... More

Loved the atmosphere, the staff was well educated, and the views and laid back vibes were so great! I Will be going back every summer. As for the man who said he wanted a Kayak tour in March, Cape Kayaks does not open until may, so he is surely mistaken as no one would have been there to answere the... More

Our guide, Arman, was very nice and gave us a great tour of the marshland. It was a relaxing 1.5 hr paddle and we learned a lot about the ecosystem. The only drawback are the biting green flies! Even with bug spray, they attacked us. Suggest you wear long pants and sleaves. Better to sweat than be assaulted. Also, can... More

The staff is great and the entire experience was well worth the affordable price. My family loved the whole establishment- we went kayaking and then sat down for some all-you-can eat crabs! It was great and really gave us a feel for the local community. Very fun and I recommend it to everyone who visits Cape May and Wildwood!!

My 8-year old started out great but as time went on she (who was in a kyack with my wife) started panicking when they got close to the shallow shore. The staff was great and very patient. They wound up attaching a rope so that one of the staff could keep the boat in the center while they all paddled.... More

Pleasent experience with staff, good kayaks at reasonable prices. Salt marsh is not the most entralling place to paddle.

We had a wonderful experience with Cape Kayaks last week. As experienced paddlers, we opted to rent kayaks independently rather than join up with one of their guided groups. They were able to offer us "sit-in" (which I prefer due to issues with my back) as well as "sit on top" kayaks. I didn't find any other rental outlet on... More

We were at Cape May for bird watching, and we got plenty of it kayaking the back bays. We spotted 4 osprey directly above us. Did you know they call to each other while in flight? Snowy egrets, cormorants, and much more were spotted. We rented 2 kayaks for the 1pm slot with our guide. It was just past high... More

After searching for a kayaking place based on price and ratings, I chose to go with Cape kayaks. If you want to guarantee your spot you can send them a message from their website. We chose to take the 1pm tour which meant the sun was high and bright in the sky, I would recommend using at least SPF50 suntan... More
