Washington Street Mall features many great restaurant including Tisha's which is one of my personal favorites. It also has the world-famous Fudge Kitchen which is open year round. The mall also has many stores including toy stores and many more. Lastly, at one end of the mall, there is a very big and beautiful Catholic Church. A very great place... More

It's a nice place to walk around with a lot of really nice shops; however, most of them are cash only or have high minimums for credit cards. Sadly, a lot of it is closed during the off season. It is best to go during the summer or you may find yourself with not much to see. It is set... More

We visited in March and found (for obvious reasons) that not all shops were open. There were some VERY cute shops with some unique fair as well as your "typical" beach/Cape May wear. There are nail salons and a spot to grab a massage (highly recommend) and wonderful eateries if you need nourishment. Very clean!

The Washington street mall was a great place to walk around, but we were a bit disappointed that so many stores were not open, and are only open on the weekends during the "off season". Totally understandable, but I would have liked to have been able to shop a bit more!

I've been going to Cape May most of my life and I try to get to Washington Street Mall every time. There are so many unique shops, great restaurants and cafés with outdoor seating, art galleries, a beautiful church, fountains, and it's right in the center of town close to everything. It's a short walk from the beach and the... More

Whatever you need can be found here and it's just a pleasant place to be. We mostly eat ice cream, have fresh lemonade, eat lunch or dinner and visit the kitchen, bath and clothing stores.

It was a nice set of shops. Better experienced in the sun, not the rain like we had. However, the shops we visited had great merchandise.

Washington Square is a cute place to walk around and shop, either for gifts to take home or for yourself! We visited all kinds of little shops and found fresh ground coffee, salt water taffy, a Swedish themed gift shop and more. Even if shopping isn't your thing, it's a very pretty area to take a walk through.

A four block mall area in the center of the city with lots of small shops and places to enjoy lunch and dinner. Need a break? There are lots of benches in the sun and shade to sit and people watch. "Comfort Stations" easy to find.
