Cape may is such a beautiful history filled city. The outdoor mall had so many quaint little shops. Many of the stores are so unique, while there are your typical tourist type. great places to eat along the mall and plenty of other establishments with in waking distance. Beautiful architect of the old inns in Victorian era. Loved it loved... More

I hit this on Thursday when they were having a sidewalk sale and though I only bought one t-shirt if I were in the market for other things, I could have gotten some good bargins. Hard to pass up $5 tshirts. I also went to a jewelry/accessory store that sold quite a few items made in the US, which I... More

This outdoor mall is kept very nice and clean. There are a lot of nice restaurants and bars as well as places for snacks such as ice cream, popcorn, and fudge/candy. There are some clothing stores also but none of interest to me. Since it is considered a mall, nicer clothing stores would give it 5 stars.

Cape May is very well maintained and really a beautiful shore town. The Washington Street Mall had none of the loud twenty something annoyances of other shore cities. It did have a lot of ice cream and shopping and I did not mind either.

Washington Street Mall features many great restaurant including Tisha's which is one of my personal favorites. It also has the world-famous Fudge Kitchen which is open year round. The mall also has many stores including toy stores and many more. Lastly, at one end of the mall, there is a very big and beautiful Catholic Church. A very great place... More

It's a nice place to walk around with a lot of really nice shops; however, most of them are cash only or have high minimums for credit cards. Sadly, a lot of it is closed during the off season. It is best to go during the summer or you may find yourself with not much to see. It is set... More

We visited in March and found (for obvious reasons) that not all shops were open. There were some VERY cute shops with some unique fair as well as your "typical" beach/Cape May wear. There are nail salons and a spot to grab a massage (highly recommend) and wonderful eateries if you need nourishment. Very clean!

The Washington street mall was a great place to walk around, but we were a bit disappointed that so many stores were not open, and are only open on the weekends during the "off season". Totally understandable, but I would have liked to have been able to shop a bit more!

I've been going to Cape May most of my life and I try to get to Washington Street Mall every time. There are so many unique shops, great restaurants and cafés with outdoor seating, art galleries, a beautiful church, fountains, and it's right in the center of town close to everything. It's a short walk from the beach and the... More
