The Washington Street Mall is a fun place to visit while in Cape May. It has dozens upon dozens of shops selling everything from souvenirs, toys, and candy to apparel and purses. There are plenty of good restaurants in the mall area (shout out to That's Amore!). If you'd like to take a trolley tour of Cape May, tickets are... More

Tons of cute shops for window shopping and browsing. Most shops were open on the main drag (even in the off-season). There are also a number of great places to grab a snack or meal.

Washington Street Mall is a pedestrian only shopping street, with about 3 blocks worth of shops. Most all the shops are local, so it's a decent place to walk around and find some items that you might not find elsewhere. There is also a few restaurants and small food related shops, so easy to grab a bite to eat. We... More

This is a great place to stroll and browse. A variety of shops, with a variety of items; some touristy, but most just fun to peruse. And, lots of great options for satisfying ones appetite. We come to Cape May primarily for the architecture, but this area provides a fun diversion.

We strolled down this place on thanksgiving day and it was empty but still very charming and enjoyable. Came back the next day on Black Friday and had a great time walking this street during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. It was also a beautiful sunny day and 65 degrees. This is a big part of downtown... More

We walked the Cape May area recently. After 11/1, parking is free. All the stores open, some sales also. Was able to pick up a few gifts. Many unique shops now also, such as Gourmet cooking oil, soaps/bath products shops (forgot the names) and of course a Christmas store. Nice crows, definitely would recommend and return.

While staying in Wildwood, I drove over to Cape May on a rainy summer afternoon to stroll the Washington Street Mall. What a treat! The mall was bustling with vacationers wandering in and out of little stores. Various snacks and meals were available at cafes and specialty food shops. I especially enjoyed visiting the Winterwood Gift and Christmas Shoppe, which... More
