I enjoyed all the little shops and needed a new fleece with Cape May, NJ on it and there is no better place to get that than here. I went in to every shop here that was open and I will be coming back in the end of March.

This place could be fantastic if the stores were more diverse and sold reasonabe quality goods. Instead most of the stores are cookie cutter; stocked with cheap, nasty, imported Cape May jersey t-shirts and sweatshirts crap. I have never visited the Jersey Shore before, but based on my experiences travelling on other parts of Jersey, I expected to see beautiful... More

Not a lot of stores open but more than I expected. Love Whale's Tale, and of course there were fudge samples to be tasted.

Cape May is a beautiful Victorian town with much to do year round (well, maybe not in January and February), but it is particularly beautiful and active during the Christmas season. At the center of it all is the Washington Street Mall, a three-block-long, shop and restaurant-lined pedestrian mall. During the holidays it is wonderfully decorated, and is a great... More

Evening at Cape May (5pm) is a perfect time to walk and see all the nice smaller establishments. After our dinner we took a stroll and some images. (see attached) This is the week prior to Thanksgiving on a Thursday night. No crowds. We bought some great fudge, (thanks for the free sample) and enjoyed each other and the surroundings.

This outdoor mall is a good place to stretch your legs. The shops are small and interesting. There are plenty of places to eat and get a drink at and outside table. don't forget to feed the parking meter !

A quaint area of Cape May with shops and restaurants made for a nice late morn/early afternoon stroll with my family during a cloudy time of the day. We popped in and out of the shops, ate lunch, then topped the afternoon off with ice cream. By this time, the sun had come out so we headed back to Wildwood,... More

My teens and I spent 5 days in Cape May and strolled in the Washington Street Mall several times during the day, although we preferred it at night, in order to maximize daytime beach hours. There are enough different kinds of shops and sights to keep teens occupied and happy on more than one visit. And for those so inclined,... More
