Close-up views of eight to eleven fin and humpback whales and dozens of impressive water spouts on a cold and windy December afternoon aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher. Large professionally-piloted vessel with clean restrooms and above-average snack bar. An out-of-season trip means you'll need to dress appropriately for conditions on the open water; multiple layers with a fleece jacket... More

My wife and I took the whale watching and dolphin trip on a beautiful autumn day. We saw at least 75 dolphins but no whales. It was still a nice trip on the water in a beautiful area. If you have the time after the trip go into the town of Cape May to see the lighthouse, Victorian houses and... More

We recently went on one of the whale watching trips. While we didn't see a whale that day, we saw tons of dolphins, which was great. I am prone to motion sickness and while it was windy and cold, it's a large boat (makes for a smoother ride) and I had minimal problems with it. The inside of the boat... More

We went on the "whale & dolphin tour" in July, 2013. The highlight for me was the dolphins near the beginning of the tour. I had never seen dolphins follow the boat closely when the captain increased the speed & the jump over the waves! Quite a sight! The trip became quite boring when we sailed far from the shore... OK, so we didn't see whales, but only the whales control that. Cape May Whale Watcher gets 5 stars anyway. Gorgeous day, had a lovely afternoon on the water, saw LOTS of dolphins, and enjoyed the narration by our knowledgeable captain. Worth the trip!

THis wasnt the worst experience, but it is basically a nice boat ride. It seemed to take about an hour before we were even in the ocean, so I wasnt surprised to only see dolphins, which we did see alot of however. We did also see a beautiful sunset. My complaints are, they ran out of pizza before everyone could... More

We took the whale watcher which left promptly and had free fresh hot coffee as promised. We saw many marine animals and were treated well. The fee is affordable and children under 6 are free.

Sandy and I have been going to Cape May for many years and this was our first time going out with these folks. Did we see seventy five dolphins! Such a great time. Captain and crew ..all gentlemen. Worth going just for the boat ride the dolphins, eagles, and kingfishers all just a bonus.

My husband, myself and four kids went on the afternoon whale watching trip on Sept. 4th. We had a wonderful time. We saw so many dolphins, a bald eagle and yes, a whale. It was a great experince, the captain was very informative and entertaining throughout the entire voyage. The whole crew was very nice and polite. I would highly... More
