Went on a dolphin watch in July 2014. The experience was fantastic. We saw plenty of dolphins some coming very close to the boat. The staff was friendly and helpfully. I was not disappointed at all. They serve pizza and hot dogs as well for free. My sister is handicapped with MS the staff couldnt of been more helpful. My... More

I booked a "Whale Watching Fireworks Cruise" for 6 adults and 4 children for July 04, 2014. Hurricane Arthur came during 4th of July and the seas were choppy, let alone the fireworks being cancelled. Despite the dangerous conditions (no swimming was allowed), the Cape May Whale Watchers would not cancel the trip nor refund the tickets. I believe that... More

It was a very nice cruise. We were only looking for Dolphins and we found hundreds of them. You may or may not get to look them in the eyes but just watching the various groups swim together was very exciting. I went into this very skeptical, I wasn't sure we would even see a dolphin, but we were very... More

We really enjoyed our trip on the Cape May Whale Watcher. We had great weather, and saw a ton of dolphins, but unfortunately, no whales. They have a bar and also area where you can get food on the boat, so it was nice to sit in the sun with a few beers, and enjoy the view. We also had... More

Sorry, but I need to respond to the review of "Robin B". Their policy clearly states that they guarantee that you will see dolphins (or whales). If not, each patron will receive a voucher good for another excursion (and I presume that they would continue issuing vouchers until they "deliver the goods".) Having said that, I find it unlikely that... More

Nice company to deal with on all levels. Clean, roomy boat with a polite, helpful crew. Informative tour of the shoreline. Wheelchair accessible and indoor and outdoor seating. Dolphin and whale watching are like playing cards. It' all the luck of the draw. We were lucky and saw m any large pods of dolphins but never really went out far enough to... More

We recently went on a daytime cruise and saw lots of dolphins but no whales. The ship is large and we had plenty of room to spread out. It was clean and quiet and parking was plentiful and free. It was well narrated and we had good customer service from all of the staff. There is seating out in the... More

Robin, We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience aboard our vessel for the Fireworks of 2014. As you can see from our reviews on Tripadvisor and our other social media pages, most patrons have a positive experience aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher. The fireworks of 2014 were plagued by Hurricane Arthur from as early as... More

The boat's nice, the staff's friendly, everything is pretty well-run and professional. We saw plenty of dolphins which was fun, and the captain does a good job of steering the boat so that everyone gets a chance to see as much as they want. But after seeing our fill of dolphins we embarked on a three hour voyage to see... More

We drove from NJ and arrived exactly on time for the 1:00 PM boat. The place was easy to find and we had no problems finding parking.. The boat was spacious and well maintained. Within minutes of starting we started seeing dolphins pretty close to the shore, and by the end of the trip we had seen nothing less that... More
