Having previously served in the Navy, though not on a battleship, walking the decks of a naval vessel brought back fond memories. I also went with my girlfriend and my mother, they both enjoyed their visit to ship as well. I look forward to visiting again.

Going aboard the gray lady and touring the ship brought back many memories from a time pass. The crew gave a great tour of the s hip and its history. Learned a lot of different facts about her. Tour gave you an idea of how they fought and lived. Great value for the price

Had a wonderful time aboard the Battleship New Jersey. Took my husband on a field trip and we had the best time. Driving there wasn't the best of neighborhoods, but it's definitely worth it. The crew was very friendly and informative. The ship is in great shape. So much information for many generations. You will appreciate members of the military... More

My dad was in the Navy during WW2. He was a single man on the USS West Virginia. He never really talked about the war much until his last few years on this earth. As a kid I loved looking at the book he got from the Navy upon discharge at the end of the war. He took me every... More

The Battleship New Jersey is an Iowa Class battleship berthed in Camden New Jersey. She is virtually a floating city. There are several tours you can take with competent guides, some of which served on the New Jersey. Her big 16 inch guns are awesome as are her arsenal of Harpoon and Tomahawk missiles. I was able to visit the... More

Attended the overnight program with a group of scouts and dads. This was my second trip to the ship and was amazed by how little of the ship we saw the first time! The guided tour was insightful and educational and the guide provided an entertaining look at the naval experience. I highly recommend the trip to anyone who is... More

My niece's 4 and 9 years old had a fun day climbing all the steps, exploring all the floors and getting to the top of the Battleship. Great place especially on a beautiful day - gorgeous views of the river and Philadelphia. It was challenging to find the appropriate parking area and the ships entrance is not clearly marked (and... THis is a war monument--simply sitting in the Camden harbor---in a city that is so violent and poor--while needing massive infusions of cash to survive. We need to change the discourse.
