Took our 4 year old. He was interested in the climbing and maze that is the ship, we were awed by the living quarters that these men and women live in. Such rich history! Really makes you appreciate our service people and their sacrifices. More

Check out the big guns, see how crews slept and how officers fared. Get a snack at the mess. Totally cool atmosphere for your nephews and nieces or grandchildren. Good for at least an hour or two. More

I visited with my parents, sister, brother in law and son. Since I have a fracture in my back, my dad had to carry my young son down the narrow stairs. They are slick and he did slip. Be careful if you have young children. Otherwise an awesome site. More

We had to take the "tour" alone as there were not enough guides. So we didn't receive any "inside" information and we didn't feel that we were treated as guests. More

It saddens me to give a one star review of such an otherwise deserving attraction, but the management of this place has to get changed. Last week I took my children there and on their website they had advertised that starting April 1st the ship was open daily 9-5. I drove from Ewing (about an hour) on my son's birthday... More

There are very few opportunities to climb aboard a piece of history and a war machine. If you have any interest with military stuff do not miss visiting this site. The size of the ship and its features are amazing. You will find yourself constantly saying wow I had no idea. Plan on at least 2 hours to go through... More

I went with my two son, ages 8 and 10 , We had overnight Encampment through boyscout. It was an educational adventure trip experienced we had. I feel like a Navy boarding the ship for one day, The berthing room was so small but it was so much fun for the kids. It was hard for me to sleep of... More
