This aquarium was fabulous. It is well-managed and well worth the price. There was so much to see and do - sea turtles and sharks and hippos, supervised petting tanks (with breaks for the animals), educational (and interesting!) displays, and more. We went with a three-year-old and one-year-old, and the adults were as awed as they!

Must see the sharks! Love the hands on "touch tanks" for the kids. Feed a stingray for $2 if you can. Makes a great memory instead of buying stuff.

My grandsons were so excited to go see the hippos and the sharks at the Adventure Aquarium. I checked their website before heading from Pennsylvania to New Jersey to make sure the exhibits were all up and running. Arrived at the gate and we were informed that the hippo exhibit was unexpectedly closed. What a disappointment! The park was over-run... More

Getting there was easy and relaxing on the NJ light rail. The ride was not rowed at all and the ride was nice as we traveled south to Camden. We got off at our stop, crossed the street, walked though a parking lot and were at the ticket office of the aquarium. Our wait was short and we went in.... More

Our grandkids found the Aquarium to be very interesting. The fish were very varied and colorful - and the kids kept especially busy with the interactive exhibits. Outdoors, near the penguins, is a giant slide - it's free and quite lot of fun. There is a special kid zone for the younger children. The cafe provides a good selection of... More

Love this place! My most recent trip was a field trip with my class. I was impressed with the number of people there. It was obvious they did not overbook with too many large groups. My kids loved seeing all of the animals and the staff was helpful. Could use a little updating here or there (facilities wise) but other... More

First off, our son loves Hippos and if you love hippos this is a must see. There are two hippos but the first thing that strikes you is how clear the glass is to see them. Second, Ginny is a ham. She puts on a show for the people. She is very inquisitive and very engaging with the people. The... More

My friends and I visited this over the weekend and the trip started out terrible. Streets were closed off in various spots, and the only place to get parking was one that was double the price. Then the rain came and I thought, 'Ugh what a miserable time...'. A very nice guy who worked there named Brian saved the day.... More

This aquarium has a great variety of sea life and exhibits. This is definitely worth a visit. I only wish that they had seals or sea lions, shows, and a larger outdoor section (although they are expanding the outdoor penguin area)

I was, like others, surprised with the relatively small size of this facility, but pleased with the way it was designed. Unlike other aquariums we've been to, this one had a large number of "touch tanks" where you could interact with the sea life. That made it as much or more fun that a walk-through aquarium. If there's a negative,... More
