We took our kids here and they had a blast. They loved the hippos and sharks. There is also a lot of hands on stuff to do, "creatures" to touch like starfish, sharks and rays. I'd say this is about a 3 our trip and definitely worth the trip.

I have always loved to see animals swim and seeing the hippos underwater was brilliant. We sat and watched them for ages. We went on a job crowded day which made the whole thing more fun. The hippos are what makes this place special. As far as aquariums go it's nice but no Shedd.

The Adventure Aquarium truly delivers what it advertises. Not only is it the "most touchable" aquarium but there is face painting and a 4-D theater. My daughter loved the air blowing on the back of her neck during the movie because it made it more lifelike, I do wish the movie was longer for the price you pay for it.... More

I've been to many aquaria in my day, and this is one of the worst. The only positive aspect about the aquarium was that the animals appeared to be in good health. Over half of their attractions were closed. Did they tell us that when we were handing over $25.95 per person? No. There definitely should have been a discount.... More

Hi TammySue88, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback from your visit. Our sincere apologies that your experience was less than satisfactory. Your visit to the Aquarium coincided with the set up of our newest exhibit, Dinosaurs of the Deep, for which there were some intermittent closures. While we do strive to communicate these as clearly as possible... More

We visited on New Year's Eve Day. As it turns out, perfect timing! No large school groups or summer camps as per previous visits. We started with the shark tank where we were able to rub the backs of small sharks while learning about them from the animator. Both myself and my 18-year old daughter were enthralled. We moved on... In lieu of driving two plus hours down to Baltimore, my wife and 18 month old stuck local for a trip around the holidays to this Camden anchor attraction. The aquarium flows nicely and has several unique and interesting attractions, but overall it did not overly impress. The overhead shark hall might be the only aspect truly worth the fairly... More

We came here on a rainy Christmas Eve (in part because the Franklin Institute was closed that day). The whole family enjoyed the visit, particularly our 8-year old daughter who was one of the kids chosen to help with the tree lighting by Bumble (the Abominable Snow Monster from the Rudolph Christmas show). Scuba Santa was a big hit. We... More

Had a chance to take the family to the Camden Aquarium rumored to be the best in the country. It had some great exhibits including the Shark tunnel and the Hippo swim tank. But the flow through the exhibits was mostly 2 way with people walking into each other in the dark. The price was steep, and of course $10... More

The Adventure aquarium is situated in Camden, New Jersey and is very close to Philadelphia downtown. The aquarium is well designed and contains a lot of species and viewing galleries. The shark tunnel and the shark viewing gallery are a must see. The aquarium also has a 4D movie show, but we were not able to buy the tickets for... More

One of the better aquariums I've been to. Penguins, hippos, sharks, etc. Outdoor area for kids to play was closed in winter, but looked like fun for kids in nicer weather
