I did enjoy this aquarium, though my son had to be carried by his father and take several breaks. Some areas are very dark and may scare young ones, or kids afraid of dark areas. There were several school tours there on Monday morning at 10. The kids had very little supervision, were running, screaming and pushing people out of... More

We took the drive down from NYC. This place is excellent, the aquarium was great, then you go outside and enjoy the area, then you go take a tour of the USS New Jersey. The food was priced well and parking was $10.

The Adventure Aquarium in New Jersey is convenient to Philadelphia. It is not a large place so will not over whelm folks who can't walk a lot or small children who can only take so much information and stimulation at one time. Being close to Philadelphia, you can easily combine a visit to the aquarium with a stop or two... More

Tagged along on son's field trip. Price for my admission was $26.50 & apparently has been raised since last update of aquarium's website (parking is still $10). Some nice exhibits but definitely not worth the cost!

We went to the Adventure Aquarium with our 1 year old grandson to escape the cold, winter we have been having. Definitely look for coupons online for major discounts for admission, we were able to get $15pp. admissions online compared to the $25pp. that you would pay at the door. It was very crowded the day we went which made... More

While we were in Philly, this was a part of our City Pass package. It was easy to get to and a nice adventure for the kids. They had the opportunity to pet a shark, pet the sting ray, and swim with the shark. My son loves sharks so he was ecstatic by the experience.

I took my 7th grade class to Adventure Aquarium yesterday, and due to a week a snow and ice, we had no crowds to contend with. The aquarium would be miserable with large crowds. The building is large, but there is much wasted space giving the impression that there is more to see than is really there. There are only... More

I took my 3 yr old here last summer for our first visit ever. He has a short attention span so he raced through the place but then he doesn't want to leave so we work our way back through everything again one or two more times. We went to the SpongeBob 4D experience, whatever it was called and he... More

My wife and I took our young grand daughters to the Adventure Aquarium on a Saturday. The girls enjoyed the attraction, particullarly the opportunity to touch some small sea animals. We thought the attraction was definately over priced for the amount of activities and sea animal displays. The cafeteria was fairly expensive as well. The facility was a bit crouded... More

This is a great way for a family to spend New Year's Eve--with the fishes (and hippos). Very well organized. Watch the fireworks from the river, dance, and have the run of the aquarium. There's even a countdown at 8 pm so the kids get the fun of that. We loved it, and so did our 8- and 6-year-old.
