We had a great day. We were two families with little kids and one teen. It was very clean and was perfect for a day trip. You can spend 4-5 hours or more and see everything from penguins to sharks. The hippos were pretty cool too!

The kids and I had never been to a real aquarium so we decided to see one while we were in the area. I wasn't expecting much, as Camden doesn't have the best reputation, parking was a bit far, and the price was a bit high on the way in. But after getting inside, I was impressed with just about... The aquarium is a nice attraction with plenty of exhibits to keep the kids happy and moving. It would be nice to have a few more outdoor exhibits. The location is pretty on the riverfront but the neighborhoods around it are a bit sketchy in spots. The parking is a pretty good walk from the entrance on the river side,... More

Went with a group to visit the aquarium. The aquarium is smaller than I expected. Watched the penguin feeding and the Hippo feeding. DON'T MISS THE HIPPO's!! Also, go back to see the hippos in the late afternoon. They are very active and it's fun to watch! The rest of the aquarium is nice, but it does get very crowded... More

We went on Super Bowl Sunday. Lots of families enjoying the day. Could not make great use of the outdoor areas since it was February, but the penguins were not complaining. Loved the hippos and sharks at the end, but do they really need to FORCE you through the gift shop to exit?? Would prob enjoy the waterfront aspect better... More

Too many artificial attractions with little information on the natural ones on where the species can be found. Enjoyed the movie though.

I was excited to love this place because I'd heard how "great" it was. But I found it to be expensive, disorganized, and kind of sad. Truly, "exit through the gift shop" is the motto,. But the toys are not even educational or fun. This feels like a private venture, not one geared toward education or conservation.

We needed an indoor activity on a rainy day in New Jersey. My granddaughter loves hippos & we heard they have a great exhibit. We enjoyed the hippo exhibit. My granddaughter got to stand right by the glass as the hippos came up to get fed. She was thrilled. The penguin and shark exhibits were also very good. It was... More

This is a relatively small aquarium with lots of interesting things to see and excellent interesting creatures on display. Unfortunately, the Aquarium does not limit the number of people who enter the building so there are too many people in the building. The problems are exaggerated because the building/exhibits are not designed in a way that manages crowd control. There... More

Really enjoyed our first visit to AA. I love aquariums and I've been to much better, bigger and more comprehensive exhibits. I've never been just inches from a huge hippo who had his feet and face pressed against the glass wall, that was an amazing encounter! We were lucky to have gotten there for feeding time and got to see... More
