LBI is a great place if you are renting a house or are home owner. Not so much for day trippers. No public bathrooms, parking is ify. But if you like the Jersey shore you can't heat LBI no crazy youth scene to speak of, no crime, beach a block or 2 away at most, plenty of bars and restaurants,...

I love their beaches, the lighthouse, beach haven shopping, mini golf, fantasy island, the arcade, the rest of the island shopping, the people, art fairs, and some of the food. Check here before choosing a place to eat and you'll be great. On and off season this is my happy place.

Here is a safe family oriented beach where there is fun for all ages. The boardwalks scare me with all the people, LBI is such a charming slow paced resort. Not worth it at all. All the chowders were gross! All you can eat in 1 oz cups, so good luck with that. You have to fight to get a taste. No place to sit down. If you have small kids you cant get in with a stroller. No strollers allowed. So you have to carry your child, fight with...

Beaches are gorgeous, great restaurants, lots to do for couples, kids, families. A real family island. Have been going to LBI for over 35 years and my chi,seen 23' 27 and 30 still want to vacation with us and their kids! Love it....

So many people visit the beach in the summer, but to me the best way to experience the Ocean and Beaches is during the Winter Months. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing snow on the beach.
