Pleasant Change of Pace

Wasn't interested in buying anything, but this provided a nice respite from beach time and bicycling. Shopkeepers were pleasant and non-pressuring.

Nice little quaint village area for browsing and shopping. Fresh veggies & spices/homemade goods/antiques/ice cream shop/fishing boats. Shop owners were pleasant and non-pressuring. Great place and nice change of pace to walk around after beach days.

We stopped here while eating at the Viking Off The hook. This place is great. Its a collection of eclectic boutiques. The best part are the people. We met a bunch of locals that spent hours telling us about the history of the area and showing us the fishing boats. All the store owners were friendly and informative. The shops... More

Touristy and expensive shops. They do host art shows, antiques shows etc. check calendar of events. You can walk out to the piers and see the huge fishing boats.

We've been visiting LBI (Beach Haven) every summer for the last five years and decided to make our first trip up to Barnegat Light today. After a visit to Old Barney and lunch at Kubel's, we wanted to complete our day trip to Barnegat Light at Viking Village. I'm sad to say we were quite disappointed in the overall vibe... More

A weekend jaunt to Ol' Barney is nice but if you have a shopper or two with you you'll have to cruise over by the bay and walk around the shoppes placed so neatly next to the charter boats on the back bay. A nice place to stroll on a pretty spring day.

Went to this village when the Nina and the Pinta were docked there. Shopping at the stores was just a big plus. There is an antique shop there that was so wonderful.

Viking Village is a small cluster of stores located right on the bay!! Soo cute!!! The fish are literally caught off the pier!! Soo fresh!! Has an "old World" feel to it!! You can do some shopping, have a cup of coffee or go to "Off the Hook" for a flounder sandwich!!! Simply a nice spot on LBI to visit... More

The Viking Village is full of quaint, interesting shops. A great place to find that unique gift or beach decor item you are looking for. They have lots of one of kind items, including artwork and antiques.
