Jack O Lantern was once a very nice user friendly resort golf course. The layout is very attractive, and fun to play. Storms and flooding over the past 5 years have taken their toll on this once beautiful track. We played on July 5, 2014, paid $66 each with cart, then informed 5 holes were closed due to flooding that... More

Despite the horrible flooding experienced this season, which affected the 9 holes that are on river side, the golf course was nice and fun to play. Only one hole is still under maintenance. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Lots of room in their condos.

Place is an embarrassment. Don't waste your time or money. HORRIBLE. Course is a goat ranch, staff rude and greens are the worst in the country. I can't stress enough how bad this course is.

I used to be a member of this course years ago when I lived in New Hampshire. It was a nice course always we kept with a friendly group of people working there. Because of where it is located, alone the shores of the Pemigewassette river it always had more than it's share of flooding issues BUT the crew always... More

My friend Nick has been asking us to join him at his condo in North Woodstock, NH for some time. He said a well known golf course was just 10 minutes down the road. We came up for the weekend and despite not being guests at the JOL Resort, we got a Saturday AM tee time. When we pulled up... More

We've tried in the past to go there, but they never had what we were looking for. Then again we tried last year to stay there, but had no luck. After waiting for someone to actually wait on us, there weren't very helpful or pleasant. We needed handicap accessibility and they looked at us like we were from outer space.... More

Have been here before and is a low cost, low frills, low expectations golf course. The staff was friendly. The golf course was chewed up. Most greens were acceptable but you can't grow grass perfectly under pine trees. The layout of some of the holes was dictated by trees on the edges of the fairways. Not a bad stop but... More

I do write negative reviews, but this place needs an overhaul. My Father and I were looking for a nice place to play golf in the White Mountain of New Hampshire. After reading a number of positive reviews about the course we decide to play at Jack O’Lantern Resort. Upon arrival, my Father and I were greeted by a man... More

We did not stay at the resort, but had the unfortunate experience of playing golf there. The course was in AWFUL shape. To be fair to the resort, they sustained some damage to the course from Hurricane Irene, and you could see spots that were impacted. That said the rest of the course was awful. Specifically, 1) Could not distinguish... More
