This was the second time my husband and I decided to take a ski vacation. The first was in Big Sky Montana which was awesome because of all the snow. I didn't have a very good experience with the ski instructors there so when I arrived at Waterville for a ski lesson I was a bit apprehensive. I should have...

Fantastic sled dog ride in Waterville Valley!!!
It was so exciting to experience the Dog Sled Excursion, “Valley Taster”, that was provided at Waterville Valley. The ride was unbelievably enjoyable and exhilarating. The guides provided so much information about the dogs and how it all worked. We also loved how we were given the opportunity to pet the dogs. The...

We visited the Waterville Valley Cross Country Center this past weekend and were extremely impressed. The staff was very helpful in suggesting routes to take that had the best conditions and vistas. We set out on our adventure to find well groomed trails and very easy to follow trail markers. Eventually the temperature climbed in the afternoon to 51 degrees,...

What a story. It starts off with 2 fantastic days of skiing. It was lightly snowing, we had beautiful views of snow capped mountains and great powdery conditions for New England skiing. Lift operators were fantastic and it was so great to see them especially with the young ones learning. For a busy day waits were minimal and so many...

Visited last weekend for a day trip up from Boston with friends. There has recently been a dump of snow so the conditions were great! It's quite a compact resort and everything was accessible, so ideal for beginners; if you are an experienced skier/snowboarder then you can easily cover all the trails in a day, so you may get a...
