Fun & Educational Once The Fog Cleared

A lot to see and learn (once the fog cleared) . It was cold up until the sun graced us with warmth. Nice, clean and updated boat. Food and snacks on board. Great family fun.

I've enjoyed taking part in these cruises each time I've visited Portsmouth and have never been bored. These boats only fit about 30 people and provide a nice calm and smooth ride up the river with very interesting information and story telling for the first leg of the trip. One of the cruises I went on was a wine tasting... More

Awesome. Boat staff super. Clean updated boat. Instructional tour. Equipped with bathroom bar bow and cover w/ heat ( if needed). Took regular 1.45 hr cruise. Want to do Islets of Shoals next. For the price. ...well worth it!

Took this 75 minute boat tour of Portsmouth, NH harbor and nearby islands. Lovely day, terrific ride and pleasantly intelligent and thoughtful guide.

Each summer I make a point of going out on Portsmouth Harbor Cruises. The staff are very professional and very knowledgable about the area and its history. I always see something new when I go. My last trip out the water was full of the phosphorescent algae that glow in the water. It was really amazing. Their bartenders make good... More

Well narrated interesting cruise of Maine and New Hampshire with rich history of the area. Boat could have used a little more upkeep but was safe and staff friendly.

If you are a history buff, you will enjoy this harbor cruise. The staff are very articulate as they narrate the history of the Portsmouth Harbor. The captain is courteous to all passengers as he turns the boat around so that all on board are able to see what is being discussed. The only negatives are the fact that the... More

The Portsmouth Harbor Cruises are wonderful, especially if you come in the fall with all the beautiful change of leaves fall offers in New England. It is very informative with plenty of local history for those who are history buffs. Just book early for fall view, it books up quickly! Since there isn't a category about New England shopping on... My husband and I were so lucky to be in Portsmouth at the end of September with temperatures being close to 80•. A beautiful, calm day on the water; the boat was clean and comfortable. Our narrator was upbeat and informative and took us out to a few light houses, and a prison among other sites. Worth the money.

Took the 90 minute harbor cruise which was perfect - the commentary was historic but said with a dry sense of humor. Would recommend booking in advance as the noon cruise to see the fall color was booked when we checked. Informative and fun - what more can one ask for.
