This is a nice, narrated 1.25 hour cruise of Portsmouth Harbor which gives you a sense of history of the area. You see lighthouses, forts, mansion, and the Portsmouth naval shipyard which has been building war ships since the 1600's. The naval shipyard built and still builds and refurbished submarines, and we got to see two subs being refurbished while... More

Portsmouth has a lot to offer and is a favorite even of New Hamsphirites. It brings you back to the old streets as it was when primarily a fishing town. Now, you can tour the heritage and also enjoy a delicious snack, lunch or dinner at many fine restaurants; enjoy a micro brew and visit Strawberry Banke. And you can... More

My family thoroughly enjoyed our 90 minute cruise with Portsmouth Harbor Cruises. The scenery was lovely and the narrative given by our captain, Demetrius, was extremely informative. A cruise with Portsmouth Harbor Cruises is a great way to see Portsmouth and to learn more about its history. The 90 minute duration is perfect-especially if you have young children as we... More

My girlfriend and I intentionally chose the 10:00 am short trip today, because we had things to do. It was a lovely ride out and Demetrious was interesting with local lore, but not too much...just enough. we each had a Bloody Mary (which was excellent), and enjoyed the sunny ride. Would recommend to anyone...under 20 dollars each.

Excellent harbor cruise for both Portsmouth area residents and visitors to the area. It definitely is a cruise that I highly recommend. Not only was the scenery beautiful but the narrative was very informative. It was so enjoyable, my husband and I are looking forward to taking a Fall cruise during foliage season.

If you ever get to New Castle or Portsmouth, NE - do yourself and favor and take the evening wine cruise on the Heritage through Portsmouth Harbor Cruises. Nice selection of wines and hor doeuvres were served. It's a great way to see the harbor and have some wine as the sun is going down (in the summer). The Heritage... More

We took the ninety minute tour of the Portsmouth Harbor. This was a great ride. The tour guide was great. Presented clearly and with worthwhile information. You want to stay at the Bow or the Stern of the ship. Not the sides. If you choose the bow bring something to wear when you enter the Atlantic ocean. It can get... More

It's great to get a different perspective on a town. This cruise takes you out to see famous lighthouses and abandoned islands. The commentary is informed and entertaining. I did a helicopter tour and this cruise as well as walking all over, so I feel that I know the lovely town of Portsmouth pretty well for only having stayed 3... More

I enjoyed our Portsmouth Harbor Cruise very much. My boyfriend and I just moved to the area, so it was the perfect opportunity to see some sights around the harbor. We took the sunset cruise, which was lovely. They don't cram a million people onto one boat, so you have walking around room, which was nice. You can enjoy a... More

The Portsmouth Harbor Cruise is a great introduction to the city and some of its most interesting sites. They include old forts, some of which date back to Revolutionary times; the old Portsmouth Naval Jail; old historic houses and beautiful lighthouses. The cruise is reasonably priced, goes on for a reasonable amount of time, and is narrated by the ship's... More
