My husband and I were so lucky to be in Portsmouth at the end of September with temperatures being close to 80•. A beautiful, calm day on the water; the boat was clean and comfortable. Our narrator was upbeat and informative and took us out to a few light houses, and a prison among other sites. Worth the money.

Took the 90 minute harbor cruise which was perfect - the commentary was historic but said with a dry sense of humor. Would recommend booking in advance as the noon cruise to see the fall color was booked when we checked. Informative and fun - what more can one ask for.

We took advantage of the Portsmouth River Cruise in early October. It was a little chilly, but we really enjoyed it. Cool when we were on the shady side of the boat and very comfortable when on the sunny side – on days like this, sit on the side that faces the dock. If you get too cold, there is... More

I had the pleasure of going, with my cousin from Indiana, on the 3 pm cruise out into the harbor on Sept 28. Everyone was so wonderful. The cruise was very pleasurable. The Captain always slowed and turned so folks on both sides of the boat could have a view of all the places of interest that could be seen.... More

The river cruise is a great trip - 2 1/2 hours - for $24!! You can't beat it! Our captain narrated the tour, you could buy sandwichs, soft drinks, chowder & adult drinks - the latter two were great!!!! Highly recommend this trip!!!!!

We took a harbor cruise from the dock at Portsmouth- we boarded on Ceres street, right in back of the Old Ferry Landing restaurant. Be sure to ake a reservation in advance. We visited the week of Sept 15th, and the longer cruise out to the Isle Of Shoals stop after Labor Day. This was an hour and a half... More

The small feel is really nice - we got to talk to a lot of the ~30 people on board. We had a perfect evening to tour the harbor and out to Wentworth area. Moon was full and seas were calm. A very nice time and very romantic!

We've been regular customers of The Heritage for years. Great experience whether you're out with family, friends, or both! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable so you're guaranteed to not only have a great time, but also learn about Portsmouth area history too. Plenty of choices throughout the seasons and within each day so whether we're in the mood... More

Had a wonderful morning cruise aboard the Heritage, and Captain Dmitri's narration was informative and entertaining. Next time, we will go on the sunset cruise, which does not include narration but it was fun to hear about the history our 1st time around.
