I was expecting more having just visited Water Country in Virginia. This park was very small and tired looking in comparison. We went on a Wednesday and the place was packed. The lines were very long. I think I only rode the slides six times in five hours. The lazy river was complete chaos. You only get to go around... more

We went during the week, not weekend. It was so crowded. My husband (48), who suffered a stroke and has left-sided weakness was not able to go on anything because the lines were so long (1 - 1 1/2 hour wait). He cannot stand for long periods and they do not provide wrist bands that allow any easy accessibility. We... more

We went with 2 young children and had a great time. They are not clear before you go in which rides are not for those under 48" and they are very strict about enforcing this - 1 of ours was 47" and was not allowed to slide on several of them. I would suggest going early if you want a... more

Considering what other attractions cost this one is worth it....if you get there early and rent a cabana. Spend the $75 on the private cabana and feel comfortable especially if your the parent. The lines get longer as the day goes on. Over the last 20 years the park has improoved considerably. Water was clean to the eye and ride... more

I went to Water Country yesterday during a HOT, weekday and it was horrific. The lines were long to wait for the rides....The toilet was overflowing and there was water all over the floors in the bathroom and smelly....One of the pool's was full of bugs and cloudy water. Most of all, the Wave Pool almost took my daughter and... more

I made the very big mistake of trying to visit this sole water park in the month of August on a weekend. Driving from Massachusetts to this spot took me 2 and half hours not because of distance but becuase the traffic going to the beaches and at the tols was backed up for miles When we finally arrived, we... more

Water Country is one of my favorite water parks! It's a large park with numerous slides. Although you may have to wait in a long line on the newest ride, I've never had to wait too long for anything else. I recommend arriving at the park as soon as it opens and heading to the newer slides first in order... more

I just went to Water Country today 8/7/07... we had a BLAST! I felt the need to write a review since so many people wrote negative reviews that I found not to be true. The bathrooms were very clean, the park was clean, and the water was clean! The lines were a very reasonable length. The longest we waited all... more

This water park has some terrific slides and the pirate ship and other young kid's pools were great. Several previous reviews stated that getting a lounge chair was no problem. I beg to differ. We arrived on a hot July Saturday at 10am, the park opened at 9:30. Already, all chairs and picnic tables were claimed. Not a big deal... more

Went to Water Country on Sunday, 6/18/06 with 2 adults, two 5 year olds and a 7 year old. It was worth every penny. I recommend buying your tickets thru AAA or look for other discount options, as it can be steep at 32.00 per person otherwise. We got there right at 10am when the park opens (a line was... more
