I would go here again and again. Great venue. Small and brimming with excitement. Check out what is going on and take a risk to go. Walkable area right downtown. You can bring your drinks right into the theatre. And you get to sit right "with" the performers, the stage is that close. We saw the Grammy winning Santa Cecelia... More

The Music Hall is a great venue to see live music or a movie. It's an old school building that has been redone; the restrooms are a little out there, but fun. The Music Hall has a great website which showcases the upcoming events....all types of music and all kinds of movies. If you're in the area and looking for... More

A hidden theatre jewel, professional productions n within my personal budget. I can't ask for more. I go a couple times each year and never disappointed. Parking is tricky but, PPortsmouth is a walking city.

This is an old theater, and they do have some great events. It is really worth attending a performance here as it's a beautifully restored theater. That being said, we waited too long to get our tickets (our fault), and the seats we ended up getting were not great as there are posts in the theater that can inhibit the... More

We were in town for a couple of days and were able to get last minute tickets to a great show for a great price! I fun space and well worth it for the price of the tickets. There are also great restaurants and bars right near by so we were able to make a whole night of it. Highly... More

Opened in 1870. All the big vaudeville entertainers performed there. Live performances and movies now. Elegantly restored in last decade. Historic tour once a month, well worth it. I volunteer there regularly, lucky me.
